How many times have RTO plans been delayed since last year when COVID began? I lost count. Has to be at least 6 or 7 times. Is it really realistic we're going to hit the mark in Oct. when Delta is raging across the country!?
When is the ELT and OC going to finally realize life is never going to be normal again with COVID and this old school working in the office like it's 1999 is out of style and impractical.

Revelation if you haven't been paying attention.......The "vaccine" provides no immunity. Further numb nut, the hospitals have both vaccinated and unvaccinated in them for covid.
It's a personal choice, but I have to tell you, my spouse is an ER physician.....the vaccinated are suffering from covid as well and soooooo much more. You just don't hear it because it is being purposefully suppressed. Blood clots, strokes, permanent heart and lung damage are a regular side effect to the "vaccine". Purposefully suppressed meaning the doctors face their licenses being pulled for going against the narrative. True story, believe it or not.
Personal choice, if you want it then get it.....but a cough or a sneeze involving covid can come from anyone of us, vaccinated or not.

I'm confused. people keep saying that the world is different. As far as I understand it, the RTO policy and communications is different than what was there before. Asking for a percentage of the time people are in the office, and not full time - at least for the time being and seeing how it goes. Sorry, am in the camp where I do like in-person interactions from time to time and I'm certainly not alone.
Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan are different - they have chosen to ask all employees back all the time. Why you folks comparing apples to oranges.
Yes yes, i know, day care, commuting, coming into to the office just to be on conference calls, etc. etc. etc. If you've gotten used to the cost savings, say so but they really weren't yours to begin with.
Going back to the office as the flu season sets in is some oddball timing. Even if everyone is vaccinated, there can be break thru infections, and also flu and colds. We know now the vaccine does not prevent you from catching or spreading COVID.
So when I hear my co-worker coughing, which is it? How will we know? Maybe just a cold, maybe COVID. Flu is also contagious, and serious, and if I catch that, will my immune system drop enough to be unable to fight off COVID?
How do I know my vaccine hasn’t worn off?
Did the other person get their booster on time? How will we monitor booster shots?
I think it would be best to RTO after flu season, in the spring. That eliminates some illness worries, gives Delta more time to go away, and we are past the holidays when so many gather together and potentially catch something and spread it to the office.
Also by then we will have figured out the booster shots and how to manage them.
I expect actual RTO in late Spring 2022. Later than that if another variant starts circulating or if our vaccines lose potency. If this is what the pandemic looks like now, just wait until schools start en masse and cooler weather starts setting in. This will be a
pandemic of the unvaccinated. Buckle up. Skeptics will start caring when their kids start getting sick.
If wf could they would open offices in sept just because it would decrease head count as a few percent would leave the bank. But they can't when other banks, large corps are putting it off. When we do go back some eu's are going to be a shocked, depending on where they sit as certain floors in buildings are turning into flex cubes. That means, first come, first serve, no more personal stuff allowed. There is major re-stacking going on right now because 25k have been let go since last year.

I personally think that the idea of in person, 20th century style office work is just dinosaur thinking. How bout we circle back on January 1st, 2022 and call it a day? To many moving pieces at this point to really make any realistic and reasonable predictions about RTO. The C-Suite needs to pull their heads out of their backsides on in person office work.. they have them stuffed so far up there that they need to go to a proctologist for a dental exam.🤷🏻
