Problem is, with all the disinformation, getting to that 70-80% herd immunity is a problem with half the country believing what BS is being spewed on the internet by certain groups with an agenda.

Amazing they want to get people ki---d to try to make political points. I think people see through their cr-p now from what I see and hear. About five years too late to prevent what is happening the last couple of years being worse, but at least it finally is.

January 2021 was the deadlest month of the pandemic.

The numbers are all going the wrong way, and half the country thinks science is fake news.

I don't see January as a RTO date for anyone.

I don’t except employees to be in office until January. As per one of the stats, if U.S follows similar trend to UK which it has historically, in that case we are expecting to have 200k cases in month of November. If this holds true, then RTO will or needs to be pushed to January.

Also if January is the timeframe, then every one will need to start getting booster shots since as per Moderna their vaccine has good effect only for 6 to 9 months.

At the end of day, I don’t see us returning to normalcy anytime until 2023. Hope I am wrong.

I think it will get worse in October/November/December when we have filled football stadiums, holiday gatherings, and indoor social activities to help spread Delta. I'm no virus expert...just looking at last year.

If they really cared for employee safety, they should let other banks experiment with RTO and let us watch the super spreading and chaos from the safety of our homes. Risk management.

Back to pushing things back a month at a time I see. These clowns can’t make a decision if their life depended on it, I don’t see how this ever instills confidence from the outside

Let's be real about this too - its going to take many employees a month or longer to get used to their new hub building, new desk layouts since many were re-habbed or re-arranged, or their morning commute which may have changed. Add that to sites like Iowa, Minnesota, NYC and others just starting into colder and snowy months around then. RTO at that time of year is going to be a rough road.

Provided COVID is under control by October -

So they want people to start heading back in October into November, then comes the holiday break - which in reality most executives leave from Thanksgiving thru New Years Day, then the freeze for the last month or so in which productivity drops due to holiday&more people gone&more customers at home and not out and about, etc.

That's supposed to magically inject the economy with a boost? Most of those execs will be in office for 2-5 weeks at most, and then gone for the rest of the year. Meanwhile the rest of us will get to stew in seasonal viruses and a pandemic.

Why not keep people home until January? Just announce that and give people the peace of mind of not having the stress of waiting month to month. New year new workplace.

Although- if they did this it would be much easier to lay off people or departments and make less of a splash when doing so. If everyone is back in office and heads start rollin - its going to make a bigger deal than doing it while people are at home and just having them zz out on Skype.

They're just biding their time until the vaccines get fully approved in September then they can mandate being vaccinated before returning to the office.

@gfh. They have green stickers on desks, conference tables, etc. that say “you can sit here” and red ones that say “you can’t sit here” to do social distancing. People there say it’s goofy. People have to haul their stuff in and out every day, people complaining they can’t be at their old desks, etc.

Color me shocked , following other companies once again! Problem is the virus isn’t going anywhere anytime soon so
