This 'thank you' is a blatant appeal to have you score the management ( not leadership) team higher on the global employee survey. And an unveiled way to say 'you are coming back to the office' so we can have coffee and conversations around a white board. sigh

@kad, I so agree. What a waste of time and money. These people are truly unbelievable.
This is a "let them eat cake" moment. People are burned out, concerned about RTO, and working with less resources. Let's give them coffee and maybe a donut while they navigate covid, their mental health, and waste their time with a long commute.

An email with "Thank You from the TLT" has a link to the video. It's a short one, saying thanks to technology and saying things like getting together with your team for afternoon coffee etc - when we return to the office.
Except of course for those of us who have no one at all on our team in same location. We will get coffee by ourselves and sit alone. These collaboration comments only apply to co-located teams, but so many of us are in solitary teams of one. But we have to come in anyway. So I had to laugh at the video, our leadership is clueless.

Moral is really bad and people are leaving... survey coming and they are fearful. RTO is a joke with or without COVID-D no matter what side of the politics you sit on. Don't be manipulated by this transparent B--- SH--.
