I was hoping it wouldn't, but we were notified that come Monday we check out our new “neighborhood” location on the RTO site and all steps necessary to complete before going in office. Ugh.

- I do not have time to double-dip as you say because I typically work >12 hours per day just to meet all of our deliverables and provide support to internal customers within forced SLAs.

People on my own team in the same hub city are going to be spread across multiple locations. Collaboration???? Can we stop with the fake logic?
I checked out of curiosity and my assigned work location is 1,407 miles away - you can't make this stuff up.

If going to an office that is only 15 miles is a problem for you, one has to wonder whether you are actually doing other things besides working when you wfc full time.
Could it be that being unable to double dip when you are at an office is a contributing factor to your complaints?
@1mdx They can’t really do a vaccine mandate for the Nov 1 RTO date. There wouldn’t be enough time for those unvaccinated to get vaccinated before they go in.
I think they are just going to put thousands of us in the buildings and let the infections happen.
@1vuf there is, most people just can't afford to.
It will be tied to vaccine mandates and weekly PCR testing for the healthy. No provision for natural immunity. Makes their job of culling 50K employees all the easier.
Yes. It’s being forced. Get used to it. My group is December 1. Nothing we can do.

Yup. Just checked the TW page that we were instructed to and lo and behold, I got an unassigned seating location 15 miles away. I have never worked at that location. Been FT WFH for over 5 years. Time to start seriously applying elsewhere. Any serious tips on how to snag a separation package w/o getting chopped off at the knees and shown the door? Technology Infrastructure is my line of biz. Nobody at my assigned location is in my LoB. So much for "being with my team".
