Did anyone else get an email to update their email in their personal e-file account? I received an email today from HR requesting I update it from my WF email to my personal email. I just find it suspect, especially if 9/30 is going to be a big day for layoffs. It’s my understanding that they send your separation package within 48 hours to your personal email address.

Not bad thing. Move recently internally and had applied w WF email address but then realized I couldnt email myself a copy of my own offer letter. (Against policy to email your home address) Had to get recruiter to email me a copy of my own docs to personal email address. It took forever to get her to do it. Wont make that same mistake again. I'm sure I'm not the only one.
Kept receiving that notice before the ax hit. It doesn't necessarily mean you're on the list, but it means more cuts are coming and they want to make sure your email is correct because that's how you will get your notifications after your talk with your manager
i received the same corporate email today.
We also received an email earlier in this week to update our work e-fax number to the fax number in our "personal" contact information in teamworks which makes even more sense.
I work in home lending and we are very busy.. i would be surprised if we are getting layoffs but who knows!

I and the only other person on my team who received it both had out WF emails in there instead of our personal.
I tried to change it but didn't seem like the system accepted it. I really want to be able to receive the package cause I can't wait to be paid to fish, study, and job hunt for 12 months.
