Di-k started this mess and his reputation will always be tarnished.

Apparently none of you heard Di-k or John speak about their lives before banking and their motivation.

Our vision and values speak to integrity. Embarrassed that someone in the branch creating fraudulent accounts for their gain points to the CEO and blames them. Nope, you either know right or wrong people. Grow up and be accountable.

You. Broke. The. Law. And. Made. All. WF. Team. Members. Carry. That. Shame.

Just gross.

I think it’s totally fair to call out a multi-millionaire who established a whole boiler-room level sales culture, and then walked away. 8 is great, stores, not branches…please. I don’t think there’s a soul on this thread that would argue against sales, it was the arrogance and willful ignorance that ruined WF. I saw it happen in real time. So many “Top Performers” who routinely cheated and lied to make unrealistic goals, all while Carrie T and her merry band of enablers (including risk) just floated along pretending that all was well. So yeah, I’m calling them out for the 2016 scandal.

while he may have created a sales culture which built the bank it was his predesessors that drove it to the grownd. if we want to right the ship I say bring him back.

Yeah its not fair to call someone out like this. He was a former CEO who created much of of the company. Just remember Wells Fargo went from out in left field to the most valuable bank in the world in large part because of him, what other CEO can claim that.

Being forced by Clinton to sell to high risk borrowers was ok, though, correct?

Fed Government are hypocrites.

There are some real id--ts on this board. Sales are reason we all have jobs, there's nothing wrong with selling customers a product they want. Di-k was awesome.
