Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

They can't be that stubborn

I fully believe RTO will be pushed well into next year. Not because they are worried about our health or anything, but to avoid possible liability as the cases, hospitalizations, and deaths continue to grow. It makes no sense to stubbornly stand their ground, especially since productivity is not affected. We'll be good for a while longer.

May go into 2022, but it'll be early in the year. The most recent spike in C19 deaths peaked during the last week of August and has been headed down sharply ever since, if you believe CDC data that is.

We’re not going back until 2022 only because Properties is the worst run group in the bank and they can get buildings ready until then.

I know an ex-Bouncer who would LOVE that job….

Does anyone know how they plan to police vaccines and testing? And will there be hall monitors ensuring everyone is masked up and wearing masks appropriately? That is not a job I'd wish on anyone who doesn't have experience as a bouncer.

You people go everywhere and do everything without worry about getting sick. Go back to work! Your children are in school. Go back to work!

It might take a while to get the infrastructure in place for monitoring the mandatory vaccines and testing. They want us in the office and uncomfortable SO DAMN BAD.

OP couldn't be more wrong. WF is about to announce mandatory vaccinations (with President's blessing).

They need very unhappy employees, so that they start seeing mass attrition and avoid severance and unemployment benefits expense.

Need to get employees off the books ASAP.

Charlie is carrying a large stick -- no carrots. (Planning to eliminate incentive/bonus compensation, too.)

I actually think they're gonna go ahead with it. Think of the attrition -- and just in time to avoid those pesky 401k matches.
