I am wondering if anyone is aware of this information.
I was hired as hourly non exempt position with no words of bonus mentioned in the offer letter.
Does this mean that my role is not qualified for bonus as non exempt employee.

Yes you are wrong. I am hourly and I get bonuses. I know of at least half a dozen others like me in my position that also are hourly and get bonuses as well.
They are getting rid of TOP dollars Jan 1. Is there going to be any recognition any more? At least it was something your manager can do to reward people that don't get incentive. I heard CS doesn't believe in recognition.
Non exempt hourly employee here you may get a bonus in March for about 2%. Those on your team that are non exempt will get the same amount no matter how they preform.
Be sure when performance evaluations start submit the voluntary self eval.
Explain what you do that goes above and beyond, why you did it and the outcome.
Explain why you aren't able to make a deadline especially if it was beyond your control yet within someone else's control and it impacted others.
Your manager may see what you do and you may have regular 1on1s but there are items that should be called out this would be the time to make sure they are fully aware of your performance in its entirety.
This board gets pretty amazing at times. One question, a bunch of different answers from those who "know". OP must be a bit confused?
"Incentive bonuses are going away. Plan is to announce 4Q."
Not quite. If a job is bonus eligible, what is going away is the TARGET percentage. Right now each job family/level comes with a "target IC" percentage. There will still be bonuses, but they will not be structured around a target IC for each job. Other guidance will be supplied instead. So there will be "incentive bonuses" - just not at a predetermined level.
1jew is correct
Also the person that said look up the job family. The job description doesn’t have bonus targets on them and if it isn’t in your offer letter, your job doesn’t have an incentive.
I wouldn't be surprised if they take them away across most of the enterprise. I’m sure WIM/WAs will keep theirs but not others. Recently, in my area they have been paying out 80-95% of the bonus instead of 100%, after you’ve earned it per your evaluation.
Recruiter here, if your employment contract does not specifically mention any bonus of any type, you are not eligible to receive. You should have asked your recruiter about this before accepting your offer. This is something you could have negotiated.
I was always under the impression that hourly workers didn't receive bonuses. But, I could be wrong. However, it seems that if your position was bonus eligible that would have been included in your offer letter. Compensation is typically addressed when an offer of employment is made. Soooo....it's looking like you are not in a bonus eligible role.
Incentive bonuses are going away. Plan is to announce 4Q.
If your job was bonus eligible you’d know..
Hourly worker here. I have received the yearly bonus every year. Also received a raise every year. But I have not looked at any thing on Teamworks as has been mentioned.
OP here:
Thank you for the information.
Use the jobs family tool in Teamworks to look up your position title. That will advise salary range and any bonus potential.
Look at the job description. The info will be there. Bonuses are discretionary and not always issued. They are never guaranteed.
The only bonus you'll get is a swift kick to the buns when they finally decide to send you packing
