Quite the sh*ttily-run conference call to officially announce it (rumors had been swirling), but he's suddenly out the day after giving his quarterly update to his 1000-person team.
No one knows why -- or at least admits to knowing.

Chuckle and Scottie are selling mortgage off in 2022 so no need to replace.
Clearly I'm no mathlete. It's actually been 90 days.
It's been over 10 weeks, and still no replacement has been announced.
Some recently assigned training might explain the nature of his departure.
Still gone
Any updates?
Welp, Head of Operations made the organizational announcement this morning, saying the guy had left Wells Fargo to pursue other opportunities. This is doublespeak for fired.
OMG that call. The invite contained the leader code (isn't that against policy, by the way?), and someone besides the host called in using it (I assume accidentally). This person didn't turn off the join announcements, and we all suffered through hundreds of beeps as a result.
Among other things, they value and set policy for valuing residential and commercial real estate.
I’m gonna guess they valuate real estate?
What is real estate valuation services?
It may be anonymous but they will pull posts for names. The Ops group a revolving door. The leadership turnover is non stop
This is an anonymous board, just say it
I have my suspicions but I'm not politically aligned and am truly in the dark.
Three guess and the first two don't count on the cause. The trail of tears continues in Operations.
There was constant loud beeping the entire time and you could barely hear the speakers. No ones phone was on mute so there was a lot of chit chat and background noise. They didn't explain anything other than they brought in a guy 5 weeks ago to replace someone they summarily fired yesterday. Took no comments.
How was the call a cluster? Most of us weren't there.
If someone from the top was on truth serum (yes, I know that's not a thing), it'd be great to ask them how RTO jives with the company shutting down / selling buildings as fast as they can.
Good to know my calls are like this one and not isolated.
That conference call was a clusterf8ck
1000 employees?? Overstaffed for sure. He needs to go
Totally invalidates everything at that call.
Good luck, duck and cover
