Does that still mean that there will be big layoffs in October, as so many on this board seem to have thought up until now? Really, lay us off just as we're scrub a dub dubbing to head to the office again after God knows how long? Would Wells do it to us in October!

Layoffs haven’t stopped, they happen every month but the audience posting here isn’t always aware. Usually a few hundred a month as opp is identified.
RTO has nothing to do with layoffs
They are collecting information on how far people are away from the office. Coincidence?
I would not try to assign any logic to how things are done in the bank except to say that everything in tech is metrics driven to a fault.
When's the cutoff for 401k matching? 12/15? If so, expect a slew of layoffs prior to around 10/16 if the bank is trying to avoid the 401k matching.
I've only heard next week (9/23) as a date. October plus 60 days starts running into end of year which seems odd for both Holidays and 401K matching. I guess we'll find out soon enough.
