Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Senator Warren Is Right - It's Time to Cut the Deadwood Starting at the Top of House

Starting with Chainsaw and some of the Board. Cut their pay in half starting tomorrow until the asset cap is lifted and the work is done.

Then work your way down to middle management and gut the bureaucratic Group Issue Management and all their god dammed forms, intake forms, and red tape that slows down the issue lifecycle and execution. Gut GIM like a filleted fish and all the clowns that work in it!

Don't agree with Senator Warren on much at all, but I do with respect to this enterprise. She gave former CEO JS an earful in 2016 and he needed it.

So many issues, so little execution. A little less talk, a lot more action. A little less talk, a lot more action.

I thought all the DEI hiring would make such a difference everything would be all good? Turns out, it's not! Hmmm.

Half is still way more than they deserve.

Stock was >$50 when Scharf arrived.

Why is OP bringing this up now? Some of us paid attention the first time around. Thanks for plastering this site with useless recaps of youtube videos from years ago. Please find some other company to work for you can be proud of and don't feel the need to waste time b****ing about, when you could be spending time with your family.

What has Warren said in addition the last couple days?

She has attacked cryptocurrency as shadow banking (meaning she wants the government to get involved).

She is hammering Amazon for not cennsoring COVID-19 books.

She went to a wedding and didn't wear a mask.

She is a joke.

Testimony from 3/12/2019

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q-PMQxJOyB8&t=10643s

Axne: I have a signed affidavit here saying that an employee in Iowa was told her job was being moved to India and that employees in that area have gone to India to train those replacements. Then I have also heard from employees they are using your virtual classroom for that same purpose to train people in other countries.

Axne: Are these most recent layoffs just you moving jobs overseas?

Sloan: No, thats incorrect.

Axne: Well, you've added more than 10,000 employees between India and the Philippines in the last 5 years and I know you are building a new facility in the Philippines for another 7000 employees I believe? Can we expect that more of your planned layoffs are just going to be jobs moved overseas?

Sloan: No, I dont think that is going to be the case.
We have 20,000 job openings in Wells Fargo today 90% of those are here in the US and probably more than that. We hire between 40000 and 50000...

Axne: (interrupts) I fail to understand how we are laying people off in this country and building jobs overseas. Thank you.

“ god dammed forms, intake forms, and red tape that slows down the issue lifecycle”

Lol

So we don’t document anything now in this new world you’re proposing? I’m sure that would go over much better. If you know what you’re doing and what your plan is, the forms can be filled out easy peasy.. it’s not rocket science.
