It's never old news. I'm sure there are people working at Oracle that don't even know this lawsuit exists.
This should be read in detail by every Oracle employee. The tactics used by TG on his employees are everywhere at Oracle.
First, there is the tactic of lying to employees about other employees to separate and divide. I experienced this firsthand at Oracle. Managers demean the best employees by lying about them to others that might work with them. This way they keep the best employees isolated from each other so that they cannot talk to each other and figure out what the manager is doing, and possibly get rid of him. Got to keep everyone isolated to keep control. That's the Oracle management way if you are completely incompetent.
Then there is the tactic of lying up the management chain, which was not really uncovered in this report, but I expect it was going on. TG was undoubtedly lying up the chain to CM about what his employees were doing. He was lying to each of his employees about how the others did not work. I strongly suspect he would then be lying up the chain of command and saying that he was writing all the docs because everyone he hired was an id--t and couldn't do anything. That was going on in my area.
Then, the guy that was supposed to get sacked and never did, was probably offering his services to TG to say nice things about him. TG might well have then been saying that this guy was doing good work in return. He gets to keep his job and TG has a suckup to work for him. That was going on in my area also. People getting credit for things they never did while the people doing the work were demeaned by the manager.
All of this is everywhere at Oracle. I worked with multiple managers all doing the same cr-p.
Everyone who is tired of working with the rat management needs to get out of the company. Everyone at Oracle needs to make sure they read the details of this case. When your manager looks like they are doing something completely stupid, there is something going on that you need to look into, if you really want to stay in this corrupt environment. Otherwise, you just need to get out. No one deserves the treatment the management is dishing out to employees.
