After 10 year...(9 of which spent in a great team with a great manager that obviously, being on of the good guys, got laid off a year ago) and after 1 years of nightmare, in a different team with a nightmare manger (he rarely replied to emails or calls and most of all, he was constantly trying to undermine his team's work) I left for a company where people actually mean something, and where you get to talk to other humans and not with systems and machines.
Also, I discovered how underpaid I was! Leave Oracle, find a better place, find a place where you are actually considered not just a number!!!

Me too, but I never had a good manager in that time, it felt managers would come and go and serve their own interests before moving on, they never listened, always complaining their hands were tied and too slow to make any changes to support me which ultimately would help our customers.
Good move. You will never regret leaving.
Best thing I read all day.
