I'm guessing Verizon falls within the companies of over 100 employees to require vaccines. What's the unions opinion on this? Will we see more stores go union? Or will we just employees quit all over the place? What are your thoughts?

Coming Nov 2021.
I will be fired before I get this vaccine or get nasal ra--d weekly. I know too many people personally with serious side effects including miscarriages, heart inflammation, stroke, etc. I cannot fathom working for a company that would have such blatant disrespect for me as to discriminate against me for personal medical choices. Over 40% of hospitalized cases in my county are fully vaccinated. Why force something that isn’t working.
Sounds like there are going to be a lot of jobs opening up, better polish up my resume!!

The unions have absolutely no impact on whether the company complied with the legal mandates of the government, in fact, they would be better served if the company was in full compliance.

Here are the FACTS: vaccinated people can get infected and can and will spread covid. The only thing the vaccine will do for you in most cases is prevent death. You can still get deathly ill from covid being "fully vaccinated" and end up in the ICU as my own brother can attest to. Tracing showed my brother picked up Covid from a coworker that was also fully vaccinated. After 48 hours in the ICU my bother worked his way out of the woods and is all better now and back to work. The vaccine saved his life I am sure of it.

This is a misconception and is the problem with what’s going on. The media has completely brainwashed people into believing that only the unvaccinated are spreading Covid when that is completely untrue. The vaccine DOES NOT PREVENT YOU FROM CATCHING OR SPREADING COVID. It may lessen the severity of your symptoms, but you are still fully capable of transmitting it to others. In fact, vaccinated people carry more of a viral load even though their symptoms may not be severe. Why is it that so many people are vaccinated, but Covid cases are up 300% from this time last year when no one was vaccinated??
If you think that this vaccine will make Covid disappear, even if everyone was compliant and followed master Biden’s demands, you’re wrong. This is a respiratory virus and will continue to be around, and it’ll continue to be used to control people.
People don’t want the vaccine because they’re not just paying attention to mainstream news that is trying to pit people against each other and brainwash you into believing this is completely safe and the “right thing to do.” There are REAL risks to taking this vaccine!! I’ve seen it! I know people who work in the medical field who have seen awful things from this. People need to weigh the risks vs. the benefits for themselves. No one knows what this can do to your health years down the road.
The scariest part is how many people can’t see past what our government is doing! Keep in mind these “mandates”don’t apply to members of congress.. just all of us working peasants. you see what’s happening??

I like how a two dose vaccine has become something with a booster needed every five months for the remainder of your life. Yet no one who supports the vaccines has questioned things at all. Go look at Israel if you think vaccines stop the spread.
Covid magically appeared in an election year. You’ve been sold that it’s been about 100 years since the last pandemic type Spanish flu, so it’s about time for another. The information in the media you’re receiving can be manipulated easily. Reading articles to gain knowledge on this topic is another easily manipulated form of research. I truly hope this is a troll post but considering how effective the social media anti vaccine movement has been ill answer it seriously.
- I care about everyone being vaccinated because that is how you stop covid from spreading. Think of it like a wildfire. The less material available to burn the smaller the fire. The smaller the fire the less amount of resources needed to combat it and the less damage it does overall.
- At this point there are people who have had covid multiple times. Each time they get infected they infect other people. Each time they go thru this cycle covid has the chance to mutate to become more dangerous. Hence “delta” variant that is ki----g mainly unvaccinated people and again overwhelming the healthcare system which puts regular people with non covid critical needs at risk.
2 questions that have yet to be answered.
- If you are vaccinated, and the vaccines are effective, why do you care if I get it?
- If I have already had covid and have the antibodies, which are higher rate than any vaccine can give, why do I need the vaccine?
I read the mandate as any building employing 100 or more people. So no those little retail stores with 7-10 employees don’t count.
If you have the Beautiful Vaccine that Trump got to happen then you are golden. If you have yet to get it then get it if you want or don’t but if you have it who cares take off the mask and live.

The vast reality is you have no choice but to get the shot most if not all companies where waiting for this to happen. Within the next week or 2 there will be a up 2 speed about this mark my words. Plus we all had vaccine passport to go to school. Get over yourself. People want to move to better things.
100 employee mandate doesn’t matter. VZW is a contractor for the government. Any business that contracts with the government is required to have 100% of employees vaccinated or will no longer be eligible to contract with the government. There isn’t an opt out for weekly testing like with the 100 employees or more.
If it is a government mandate then unions are powerless, as usual, to do anything. Most federal employees are union represented and sure enough they are required to get the vaccine. Is this another union sponsored post just to try and get more members with empty promises?
