Why do people expect things from Wells Fargo other than a paycheck? What exactly do you think you're owed? You do the work, you get paid for it. That's how it works. The company is not here to make sure your feelings are not hurt or to care about you. What does that even mean? Do your job, get paid, rinse and repeat. It’s that simple.

@OP. I certainly hope you are not a manager. If all you are getting out of WF is a paycheck then I feel sorry for you. People need guidance, feedback, and be listened to. If people feel valued, they may feel more happy, it motivates them to do better, do more, and helps to create employee loyalty. If all of that occurs, Wells Fargo does better...because then talented people are not looking to leave if they haven't already. That's why talented people expect more than a paycheck, because they know they are marketable and go elsewhere.
A company's increased productivity, increase in profits and better community good will is directly tied to employee satisfaction.

But you can do all the work and still not get paid as you just "meets" or as they whine every year well we are only at 80% of bonus target even though we had record earnings....We get barely 2% raises and Chainsaw gets a 14% increase....and is the highest paid.....
I dunno. I came from the Wells Fargo that thought "our people are our most important resource" and considered team members to be its competitive advantage. Now I feel like we're just expenses to be managed.
