Enterprise jobs are shielded from layoffs.
@clb on one hand that's good. Too many PMs are sh--e at M-ing their Ps. OTOH I don't want to do their work if they all get shitcanned. :/
Whatever. What is more depressing is we are down approximately 31k US employees since a year ago, but up 9k international workers. The pace seems to be increasing, at least compared to past years.
If we were being uniformly cut that would be one thing, but to be steadily increasing abroad is putting salt on the wound. That is the crime.

Have there even been any layoff's in the last year? I don't think so. They do close 1-3% of branches that aren't profitable, but that's been the case for decades.
Lot of September dates predicted for cuts. 16th, 23rd, and the 30th. Certainly one of those must be the jackpot
