This has turned into nothing but a regular paycheck you get until the moment they decide your time with the company is done. That's it. If you had dreams of retiring here, you can kiss them goodbye. I'm not trying to be a negative Nancy, I'm just telling it like it is.

I only stayed for as long as I did because I had the optimal work life balance... 10 hours of real work and 30 hours a week to just do as I pleased. I decided to move on when I figured I had a long enough rest that I could deal with actually putting effort into a role again. Oh, and after I realized that Oracle was LITERALLY paying almost 50% less than competitors and the leaders didn't even see it as a problem...
I’m just here so I can enjoy nice naps during the weekday, trade stocks, set my FF team up. I’m in a GBU that is run by some serious clowns. I don’t take one damn thing serious any more and I don’t even reply back to customers unless someone bothers me. Hahahahaha.

The only way you'll retire at Oracle is if you have 6-12 months left. That's it. Any longer and you need to bail out on your own. It is NOT going to get better.
Was it ever a place for a career, rather a few long term servers. They weren’t building anything!
For the SC/Engineer community, Q1 bonuses, or the lack of, will accelerate the departures.
Was it ever? I think most smart folks got out 4-8 years ago. I think the last boots on the ground getting out now.
