Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Reality Check - Wells Fargo is a great place to work

Its plain obvious this is the best company many have ever worked or ever will work for in their entire life. Otherwise, there wouldn't be so much complaints and worries about getting laid off. Wells Fargo is like a hot blonde being stalked by uglies. I think most of the really nasty posts here are from people already let go, oh so bitter. Don’t be one of those people, support the company you work for, support your manager, support your groups mission, work hard, do good work and you will be rewarded.

I have years of experience saying that this is not true.

Obviously they are paying people to post this cr-p or the cr-p is being posted by management.

FTFY.

Some people are in locations that are not job friendly.

IT people can and should leave for WFH jobs, but I suspect fear of the unknown keeps many from taking the leap.

I stop by here to check on friends, but I left a while ago and the new environment is better and the pay is better and my life is better.

OP is just a troll.

I don't know what's worse. Being laid off, or getting a big sack of briannuts as a 'gift'.

The problem is people are not appreciative or satisfied with a "hot blonde" anymore. Now that blonde needs to be able to cook, clean, wash your car, do your laundry, pay your bills, raise your kids and at the end of the day that blonde needs to be sure to cater to any other whim you may have.

Get the analogy? Today's workers want everything immediately and without having to earn it themselves.

"Outrageously corrupt Wells Fargo organization, rotten from the top down."

Then you go on to say

" The little people like us feel threaten our jobs cut from the evil Wells Fargo masters"

If your down at the bottom doesn't that make you little as well. OP is right support your company, you sound like a ungrateful dirt bag employee, i would fire you in second.

Wells Fargo funnels over $12 billion on outside services into the pockets of consultants, contractors, attorneys, politicians and special organizations, which are their friends at McKinsey, Protiviti, Deloitte, KPMG, EY, PWC, Accenture, Ketchum, O'Melveny & Myers, Latham & Watkins and more. Those Wells Fargo corporate elites get rich, buy second beach houses and shelter monies in tax heavens. Outrageously corrupt Wells Fargo organization, rotten from the top down. The little people like us feel threaten our jobs cut from the evil Wells Fargo masters and the belligerent customers on the phone and in person on a daily basis.

Granted no firm is perfect, I do agree that Wells Fargo is a great firm to work for. Working previously for top tier bulge bracket investment banks I can tell you that WF has many similarities. But OP you mention at the end of your statement about being “rewarded”. I can tell you that I’ve poured so much equity and sweat into Wells Fargo and I have not received any inkling of a reward. Whether it be financial in terms of a proper bonus or in terms of title or position, nothing. Luckily the people I work with and the business line I report to are exceptional people. Having that notion allows me to feel rewarded that im part of a team of intelligent, caring, motivated people. I deal with challenges everyday both personal and professional and I can tell you having people at work that can help you navigate through those challenges makes everyday at Wells Fargo a reward.

There is no way that @OP works at Wells Fargo. No one would ever refer to WF as a "hot blonde". But thanks for the laugh...
