Thread regarding Truist Bank layoffs

KK has left the building

While his formal last day as CEO is his birthday on the September 12, he has exited stage right for vacation. I am just sad to see everything hBBTstood for erode into the SunTrust cesspool. What with the voluntary separations and RMs bolting for the door, Truist will look just like STI in less than two years. Buckle-up folks for the race to the bottom!

How appropriate. The book is a perfect symbol of the whole merger. Wonder how many bank jobs the printing, publishing, and mailing of this book cost? And why? For no other reason than to prop up Kelly King’s ego on the way out. Who on the Board ok’d this ego-fueled waste at a time when the rest of us are losing jobs, aren’t getting merit increases and are being told to tighten our belts? I will give Kelly King credit; just when I think he couldn't be any more self-centered and greedy, he proves me wrong every time. I have spoken to tons of teammates, and everyone is as incredulous as I am about the uselessness and insensitivity of this “gift” - talk about twisting the kn--e. Kelly King fully deserves the laughable reputation he has achieved with the Truist workforce.

at least we got that book from Kelly before he left! I can only imagine how much it cost to print, they didn't spare much expense it looks like.

Also that $200 million in charitable contributions, where did all that money go? Any links to Kelly? I BET SO!

King Kelly slithered out the door like the snake he is. Leaving a legacy of destroying thousands of lives and a bank that no one wants to work for and customers are leaving in droves. The smoke and mirrors of the SunTruist leadership is doomed to fail sadly. Truly sad at what these clowns have done in the name of “now Truist”!

He got his money. Out he goes.

The “merger” was always only about the two CEOs getting richer. It was never about building a combined great bank.

Like my Dad use to say, "good riddance to bad rubbish".

He destroyed the bank!
