Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Are layoffs on hold for now?

Until the whole mess with RTO, the Delta variant, vaccines, and who knows what else is sorted?

Just heard from a very reliable source. Big cuts on 9/14. Tech and new movement into Servicing.

No, all of our discussions are centered around FTE saves.

This is only a guess. But considering that layoffs do not occur that often after Thanksgiving, anytime from now until then. But isn't it fair to say that they are coming?

Hear that sound? It's a Chainsaw starting. Cut cut cut cut all the dead wood, entire month of Sept.

It has equaled 2k a month for over a year now and its not slowing down. Keep dreaming that you or anyone else is safe below the 4th level.

Maybe instead of worrying about head count, sell the top four layers of management back to Chase to save jobs.

How many common stock votes do all the non-executive employees have to make this happen? Get rid of all of them, including the board. Fresh start.

If we can tap into our 401k company stock, maybe we can outnumber the execs.

I’be tried to figure out how many were let go on 6/23. It is not that easy to do but looks like maybe 1500-2000 people. Today we at 253051 employees... I believe we were around 255k probably less on 6/23. I wonder how many offshore resources were hired since then...

I haven't even heard of any good guesses on dates although September is quarter end which seems to be a pretty consistent trend.
