I received that aforementioned email this morning. Funny thing is that I have never worked in a WF location. I've been 100% WFH for almost five years now. What is also weird is that I was the only person on my geographically-dispersed team that received it...but of my team mates, I happen to live the closest to a WF office tower in a major Tech hub.

These are going out to employees who are either moving work locations (to a different floor or building in their market) or who will be in an unassigned seating building (most city center locations). They are asking for current seat location, phone number etc and it’s so they can have the third party packers come pack up your stuff, label it correctly and have it waiting for you in your new location when you come back. This used to be done via a terrible excel move matrix and now it’s been moved online. Nothing sinister!

I just got the email telling me that another email will soon arrive asking for information. Maybe too many people are clicking the report Phish/Spam button on the survey?

These emails sometimes drip over days or weeks to avoid flooding other systems like they broke the system that took orders for free WF Volunteers tshirts.
