Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Replaced by overseas workers

Band together as a group if your jobs are replaced by overseas workers and file for Fed TAA. The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) Program helps workers who lose their jobs due to foreign competition, including work being moved outside of the United States. Just kicking knowledge from the 7-11

@2uct. I said over a year ago they were following the Chase playbook and you know where these people came from. They are 70% offshore now after years of doing this cr-p and shooting for 80.

Rumor is they want to scale back by 33% of the US workforce and ramp up India & Philippines usage. We won't be able to stop it. Decision has been made. Best you can do if you are not in a hub location is to update your resume and start looking elsewhere. Chalk up the experience (whether be 1 year all the way to 40+ years) and take it somewhere else. Or, for those lucky enough, take retirement. I'm a 20+ year veteran who applies to 2-3 positions externally a day. Not worth fighting to stay at WF.

The government wants as many jobs moved overseas as possible...so appealing to them isn't going to help. Mass dependency = job security for THEM.

This is their goal. Always has been because they did the same at Chase and ruined IT there before moving on. I’ll be surprised if the exodus of those failed management folks doesn’t begin end of this year or beginning of next. But it will be cheap and they’ll get what they paid for. Cr-p.

So, I just read about this program on DOL . Gov and it sounds legit. I can go on linkedin right now and see my job position posted in India less than a week ago, but I’m worried sick of when my last day will be.....We need someone to lead this project!
