Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

6/24 is real I just received packets for 5

I received 5 displacement notice date discussion packets. All for notice before 2p central time on the 24th. I’m small time so if my team is getting hit like this who knows what is coming. Scared to say my group but we roll up under CEO of Corp & Inv Banking JW.

Here is what he said. Not that he received the packets for those laid off but "I received 5 displacement notice date discussion packets." and no not always do you receive the displacement notices 2 days before.

Will you please continue the petty bickering? I find it quite intriguing.

Be honest. You two who are arguing are married, right? I mean to each other. Because you’re sounding like a couple of bickering spouses. Actually, it’s becoming entertaining now. Keep making a$$es of yourself. I’m enjoying this immensely.

Don't be suckered in to searching the training code on Develop You.

Anyone watching can query for the identity of those searching that code and have a list of people who might be posting on this site.

@1lfb

You posted about receiving packages... and then claimed that you said you received the info by email which you did not. that's there in black and white for everyone to see.

Now you try to cover with the code for displacement training - well so what. it's not available ONLY to managers to see.

And in fact, the description does NOT say it's required one time or annually - anyone who's an EE at wF can look it up on Develop You and see that.

If you are truly a notifying manager doing displacements, you wouldn't find out about it 2 days before. So I still call you a p-t-stirrer.

If you're legit - clean up your story and fess up.

Ugh let’s not bring the grammar police into this. Keep it to Wells.

Also JR from the old stakeholder relations is the worst. Glad he got the heave ho.

These so called “managers” who say they know something and don’t know sh!t irritate all of us.

No one knows anything until the day it happens except those three up and higher and they aren’t talking.

@1psm

Are you really that thick? Do you think we would take the same training monthly? That is almost the pace we are going in.

You take 1 training people look it up in develop you code: ON-0002414

Only a true manager would know the develop you code. It states in the description that it is a once a year required course. Once means one time. I believe the exact wording is required yearly.

@1aah. Considering you don’t know the difference between your and you’re, I doubt you manage anything outside of mom’s basement.

Educated people like this “low level employee” know the difference. You have no clue who I am, I could be YOUR manager.

@1xrk

keep digging yourself in deeper.

You have to take the training every time you displace someone. Not one and done.

The beauty of this site is we managers DO get to talk to you employees like “that” on here. Last time I was outed was 1997 when I told my mom I was g-y.

Your obviously a low level employee too

@1xrx. No manager would speak to an employee like that so he outed you.

@1fbw

You must be a low level employee. That training you speak of I took when I laid off the last three rounds. You take it one time. Duh… smart guy.

Second packets are emailed to manager first we verify remaining time off via link then packet is completed and sent out.

I see lots of dead weight on here replying with no knowledge Thursday hopefully clears most of you out. Go to work at bofa.

@1xky it's you who has reading comprehension problems.

the word "email" does not appear in the OP. Nor does it appear in others on this thread who say they got "packages"

And in addition - the "package" does not go to the manager. It goes straight to the employee.

And if you really were a manager doing displacements, you would have known about it (even if it wasn't your choice) when you had to do the training - weeks ago. so why are you saying that you just found out about it/are posting now?

if you're going to lie and want people to believe you, you'll need to get your facts straight.

So are the line employees being notified by 2:00 PM CT so the senior managers have three hours to let the mid to low level managers get their notices?

This is my first post to the thread and I'm just a d-mb engineer so I'm not great with words, but I'm trying to figure out where you said "email".

@1ykj+

You clearly have reading comprehension skills that need fine tuning. I said in my original post I was EMAILED the displacement packet. Never once was physical packet or person mentioned. You are an internet troll. You must be some Wells dead weight if reading is a struggle for you as it seems to be. Hope you get the call on Thursday.

There are no longer physical packages with displacement. All information is sent by email following the notification from the manager.

Managers who are doing notification are required to go through training a couple of weeks prior to the notification date.

So I call BS on anyone posting here that says they are a notifying manager and just got "packages" for distribution.

On individual team levels, does anyone know if any of the same teams are getting hit again? Or is once a team already had staff cut the chainsaw moves on elsewhere?

Reworked the posted rhyme.

One two Chuckies laying off you.
Three four you're replaced by Bagladore.
Five six not doing anything to fix.
Seven eight the 24'ths your last date.
Nine ten never work again.

It doesn’t count as a layoff if they open up the same position in India. It’s just a realignment.
