Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Everybody might be considered replaceable, but that doesn't mean they should be replaced

Our leadership seems to think literally everybody at Oracle is replaceable, at least judging by their choice of people when it's time for layoffs. The problem is, they've been cutting indiscriminately for so long that we no longer have all that many employees left with technical knowledge and vision who can deliver the needed results. What do you think will happen when all of them are replaced as well?

I explained to a recruiter that the majority of Oracle mgmt can’t do what their subordinates do. They don’t even have the qualifications. I would have to say that after seeing and know some folks who are managers at other companies in tech, Oracle has the lowest level of talent in mgmt. my director is able to navigate slack and that’s about it. I realize where I am at and that’s why I only work about 15 hours a week and am hardly home. Oracle does not deserve me and they are the biggest waste of talent in any industry. I don’t care where they get the talent. I’ve heard the same from people all over the world. I know people don’t care about getting laid off. In fact, they welcome it. I know people who have been stealing money as managers and they don’t care cause they’re just cr---y people. So if they don’t mind, I sure as heck don’t. F Oracle.

Any employee is expendable, especially high paid employees who will eventually be replaced by low cost ones from third world countries such as !ndia.
