If you were provided a list of names that you need to displace, you should be able to see a trend of how they picked them. Do they live in a hub? High pay? Low performer?

I just received an email titled Displacement notice date discussion and it lists 5 of my team who I’m to displace this Thursday before 2p central time.

Mhmm. Literally hundreds of managers conducting notifications for thousands of employees. Might be the biggest wave yet.

For anyone wondering if the original post is real, I'd say it is.

The person who posted it somehow knew that Thursday will be the 24th.

That's too eerily coincidental to be a hoax.

I actually draw a small amount of satisfaction from knowing that somebody, somewhere has to do a CR to terminate me. I've always disliked doing CR's so it feels like payback.

IAM = Identity and Access Management
TBSA = Technology Business Systems Associate

We had to help prepare the work requests to remove access for the displacement waves, usually on the date of displacement (toward the evening). An engineer would be assigned (from India) to run the job to revoke the Active Directory account.

I actually saw the files, names, positions, etc. Dreadful work and glad I left.

IAM =Infrastructure Access Management, or the security apparatus that allows you to login. (Ie the modern day RSHA, if you know what I mean).

They can grant and revoke, it’s that simple.
TBSC, technical business systems consultant?

TBSA? Technical Business Systems Analyst?
I have no clue what IAM is.

My goodness with all the acronyms. I wish people would type out the department or line of business (LOB) so others will know what you are talking about.

It’s been a big rumor for a while now. I’m a former TBSA from IAM, resigned last month for another job outside of WF. Glad to be out of there.

I actually helped with access removals from displacements and they are scheduled for the last Thursday of each month. This one in particular is supposed to be a BIG wave from what I remember.

I love how people post things like this but say nothing about how they know. If you’re going to make a general statement like that, back it up or shut up. Otherwise you’re just fear mongering.
