Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

We're all anonymous here, so it's a pretty ridiculous avenue of approach to slight a fellow employee.

OP is saying people here are not courageous, but is not looking at their own actions. Op is another coward to afraid to speak up amongst his peers and management team.

Just another coward coming to an anonymous site yet he is doing the same thing as the people he complain about.

@1ych - Because it’s not that easy to find another job. I did fortunately and left already, but come back to this forum because I’m curious as to what’s going on. Now let me take a sip of my coffee.

This forum helped me determine when I needed to start looking for another job.

A lot of people enjoy working at Wells, don't expect everybody to walk around with a chip on their shoulder, accept that fact. Some will lose their jobs, move on, retire...etc. No need to lose any sleep or sanity over that and look only for opinions that validate your point of view. Accept it, it's a fact of life and move on. Spewing all that negativity will catch up with you, sooner or later. Karma is a bi---h.

I'd also say Wells is a great place to work if that's what they hired me to do. Alas, I make my living actually helping the bank to keep operating, rather than making management feel good about themselves.

Yes it is great to work for a "good" company until you are laid of unexpectedly, due to no fault of your own.

Zero responsibility for your own well being and future. Your victim mentality will plague you for the rest of your life in and outside of WF. I bet the sky is always falling, everyone is against you all, and the whole game of life rigged. If you're reading this and it makes you angry it's because there's a bit or a lot of truth hitting home. If you've done nothing over the last 18 months to prepare for your departure from WF, that's on you. Time to put your big boy/girl pants on and handle it

Ha! This post has to be a parody. Or it’s from some parallel universe that works in complete opposite to reality.

This is a layoff forum to discuss layoffs. If you want sugar plums and puppy dogs, you are in the wrong place. Layoffs affect livelihoods, career futures, and families. It is not pleasant or easy.

Sounds like everything is going well for you, for now. And if that is the case, why are you here?

What you need to do is pray that your easy ride stays smooth and doesn't get bumpy.

I hope all you complainers are fired sooner than later. The stagecoach deserves a better class of team members.

I enjoy my job, my team, my manager, and my pay. It is incredibly sad to hear some of the stories others are going through or have gone through. Just know it’s not indicative of the company as a whole, sometimes you just need to branch out to other roles/spots until you find a good fit.

These new offshore personnel are in such a rush to brown nose they don’t even realize this isn’t Glassdoor

Covid blew WFs plan to layoffs and location strategy even if you are vaccinated say that you aren't because of your religious beliefs, just make it up. Let them figure out how yo reconfigure work spaces in buildings.

Be careful extrapolating your one data point and assuming it represents all 257.5K team members.

As much as I agree with OP, this sort of post is not going to be well received on this Board. This Board is for upset, disgruntled and laid off people that hate Wells Fargo. All other opinions are not welcome on this Board and get attacked immediately.
