He came, he saw then he bolted for the door.

Hmmm, so he probably just leaves "Wells Fargo" off the resume. Why is he not subject to a non-compete agreement?
and the S--t Show continues while i take a sip of the coffee...
I actually don’t know anyone who works sir SVB. Is he terrible? I heard he tried getting his team to do yoga with him every morning. Who has time for that?
SVB probably doesn’t even care; too busy planning his next extravagant vacation.
You should want the layoff now. You don't want to be a survivor. More work, less people, no real plan to mitigate the extra work
They will leave. The only question is: will those that want to stay be around to see it?
@bvm+1bl98QVZ - oze here - I already left. Took a job with a tech company. Got a raise, a signing bonus, and keep working from home. Yes, it is burning down. I'm here for the 'smores.
I heard the real reason was due to location strategy and he won't relocate. Imagine the barrier to be creative and discuss your ideas when your nearest corporate approved hallways and water coolers are 300 miles away.
(Let me sip my coffee)
All of these people are short term hires. It is just unfortunate CS and SVB haven't left yet.
They must be waiting on some hiring agreement payouts.
I have done this in my own career.
It is interesting to me that there is so much focus on candidates lying in applications, but tge preponderance of lying in hiring that I have seen and experienced is on the part of the hiring organization.
@ozk+1bl98QVZ. It’s burning down. Your are leaving?
@ahe+1bl98QVZ Who cares. Take care of your own career.
How many people have left that worked for SVB? Is he that hard to work with? These are people that SVB personally hired.
Did Paul not buy in to the vision of SVB? Did he see a major issue with the strategy? Or did he just join WF so that UBS would offer him the role he really wanted?
He should have checked here first, then he'd know that everyone at WF has "current skills", or at least every techie that visits the layoff site claims that they do and that everyone else sucks for not having them.
Let's be honest all.
Most of us here who joined I. The past 34 yrs have been lied to by HR.
I was told that we were going to turn the corner and that we would be off the asset cap by end of 2017.
Paul prob got lied to - came in and saw this sh1t stack we call "Tech" and decided to salvage his reputation.
Leave before the reorg is finished? LMAO.
@vnb+1bl98QVZ It is personal reason. He personally likes to return to USB or his family (wife) wanted him to.
That would explain why the Ask Me Anything was cancelled last week.
Six months tenure for one of Saul’s directs has to be a new record.
Red flags all over this.....
It's very telling the type and level of people that are leaving. The CS worshippers continue to say "everything is fine" but the building is burning down.
Who?
5 days after the 'Outsourcing Rumor' post! Hmmmm...I'm not a conspiracy believer, but strange timing. Going to UBS...https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/paul-mcewen-returns-to-ubs-to-head-tech-services-memo-2021-06-14...but we are told 'personal reasons'! LOL
