Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

If you all knew how good you have it,

You wouldn't complain. Surely, things could be better. Many of you are on the chopping block. Many of your peers have already been chopped.
Be grateful for the now. You have a paycheck and benefits. Some don't have that.
I'd trade places with you in a heartbeat.

Blame the board. They hired him to do what he is doing and they paid him handsomely. He is what they want.

Oh please. Get off of your high horse. This is not the forum. I think it can be assumed we are all lucky to be alive, have food on the table, have our health, to not be living in a third world country. That doesn’t mean you can’t be pi---d off at a $25,000,000/year as----e who gets richer every day by stepping on his own employees.

If you never nearly starved to death or have had to literally fight for your life, you're ahead of 99% of human beings that have ever lived. We can and should always strive for "better", but one can do that while also being completely aware of how blessed we are to live where / when we do. We are all incredibly fortunate that our biggest problem is a bad boss or a job we don't like. It's 2021. You can change jobs almost as fast as you change clothes. Go for it, be happy, and relish in the fact that a resignation gets the company 1 person closer to the headcount the board wants to see. You might literally be saving someone else's job. Seems like win-win.

It’s all relative. WFC is great to work for if you came from a job at Walmart or IHOP, or were a construction laborer. Not so great if you came from anywhere else.

Post ID: @1gei+1bl3QsqF if you get cut and are over the age of 50 is very hard to get a good job, or even a job. Ageism doesn't exist...right?

Well I guess since some people have it worse that means we live in a perfect society and should never attempt to point out its flaws or fix them.

Some people need to hear this. Visiting the 3rd world a bit would help also. Our society is ridiculously entitled. Call it "privilege" or whatever you want to call it. Yes, things can always be better, but we are quite literally the most fortune human beings that have ever walked the Earth.

OP, sorry you need a job, but what is the point of your post on a layoff rumor website?

Cowboy up? Rub some dirt on it?

Useless posts every single day.
