Thread regarding Oracle Corp. layoffs

Still thinking

Still thinking about this. Horrible thing to happen to this man. Glad he had the presence of mind to keep all the recordings and documents.

There has got to be nothing more terrifying to the tiny rat-management brain than an honest person with a bunch of recordings.

He was lured out of amazon with the promise of RSUs, did an excellent job at oracle, and then they intended on cheating him out of what they lured him in with. No doubt they had done it before. Unless someone stands up and fights back, the sc-m at the top will just keep using and abusing people.

I feel for the guy, I worked my a-s off at oracle and was cheated while people who did nothing took home bonuses and promotions. Oracle is one big, big scam. From LE lying to the investors down the the smallest contributor. They think they can cheat people indefinitely and there will always be another su---r around the corner. Customers have gotten wise though, working to remove oracle from everything they do. Employees are getting wiser too. Prospective employees should be reading what gets written here on the thelayoff. Oracle is a company to avoid at all costs.

The point is the guy got a $100,000 signing bonus and 45k RSUs which are worth over $3MM fully vested. He has to pay the bonus back and get gets zero on the stock. The lawyer will put anything and everything he can in there, some will stick, some won't, but you don't know unless it's in there. I'm just shocked at the offer, I wonder how many people get $900k per year in RSUs. The little guys in the company sure don't get tens of thousands of RSUs. They may be lucky to get hundreds.

Was that brief written by an actual accredited lawyer? I feel sorry for the poor judge who has to read that long winded diatribe. "Boo hoo, Clay was 20 minutes late to a meeting, woe is me"

I feel sorry for the clueless sl--e-bag that wrote this. People like this are always part of the problem. No empathy for anyone. No clue.

I pray for Peyton's family that the lawyer, Andrew Waters, will be successful. I hope current & former employees will come forward and help him build his case. Those of use who have worked at Oracle, have no trouble believing the allegations in the compliant. Andrew Waters--keep fighting the good fight!

This lawsuit is now in the public record, just like the expose of the horridly managed cloud unit lead by a weak bullying exec with zero management skills. These things matter.

Most likely Oracle will settle this lawsuit in exchange of money to the family of the defunct.
And as usual Oracle gets away with it using the write off: sad but true
