Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

If you hate the bank why not leave?

Americans are so entitled. If you hate the bank that much why not just resign? I have to tell you that I am highly impressed with how they have handled everything.

I wonder if we can offshore enough to India to put a damper on all the call centers over there that want to talk to me about my auto warranty?

When you hear "shithole countries," that's an example of nationalism disguised as patriotism.

With all the india projects on hold, the off shore teams have been tasked with trolling thelayoff.com and pumping up CS and WF on glassdoor.

@OP great question for Charlie, if he hates the bank why doesn't he leave?

Oh right, just like everyone else he wants the money.

The only difference is he gets to take it away from others to give it to himself.

@1zws+1bjU66G1, yes for several years now. Started at an entry level job and worked my way up through the ranks and and make 8x more than I did when I first started. I never had any plans to end up where I have (or for that matter to be in banking at all). So is it a bit of a brag? Darn sure it is. I worked hard and applied myself and that achievement is mine and I earned it.

I wouldn't want a 7 figure job here; the one I have has enough headaches and aggravation. Mainly, having to interact with the your type of mindset in the newer hired help (not necessarily younger people, I see the same attitude across generational lines).

However, kudos to you on making a sharper written retort.

@1zrj

make 6 figures (and have for several years now)

For several years now. Funny brag!

So impressive! You are so all that plus a bag of potato chips and a can of Mountain Dew

  1. S I must admit. When I read your post I thought (and expected) 7 figures salary. It was a LOL moment when I saw 6. Thanks for the laugh. You are such a naive punk

For someone who claims his life is going well your post about shithole country and their gullible simpletons (your words) is disgusting and classless. You sound nasty, bitter and ignorant. You have no class. Frankly your bragging about 6 figures salary and your 401k etc… is very entertaining. It’s true that when people brag about what they have it often shows how little they have.

No @usl+1bjU66G1 the gullible simpletons from shithole countries have not destroyed my life. I live in America and make 6 figures (and have for several years now). Well funded 401, plenty of cash in the bank and have zero debt. I'm out of here as soon as I choose or when I get the unintended parachute from the greedy dogs running this place into the ground.

My life is doing great. Makes me sad to see such little imagination for putdowns but I'll survive. Now time for a nice 20 year old single malt as I watch the Cubs leading the Cardinals in the middle of the seventh.

@bud

If it wasn't for these offshore gullible simpletons willing to be exploited, the American workforce would not be subject to the type of greedy maneuver currently being pursued by the WF OC.

So gullible simpletons from shithole country destroy your life? What does it say about you?

OP must be from a sh!t ho-e country where the Bank is paying them a quarter of what they would domestically. Always find it interesting that people from other counties like to bad mouth the USA but want to come here any chance they can.

If it wasn't for these offshore gullible simpletons willing to be exploited, the American workforce would not be subject to the type of greedy maneuver currently being pursued by the WF OC.

I'm American, I agree many Americans have great sense of entitlement, and the bank also has many whiners. While many may not agree with the new direction, it's certainly better than what we were or weren't doing previously.

I hope when I do leave that the state of high alert I’ve been living under for the past 1.5 years goes away as well. I don’t want to start my next job with my current paranoid mindset. May need an extra week off to reset.
