Despite the career stagnation and being forced to use 15 year old tech, companies are finally giving me opportunities. Hopefully by next week I will have an offer in hand and be able to leave this behind.

Good for you! I was in the same boat, but my new company was more interested in me than some of my outdated tech. The see me as a good leader with solid agile experience.
OP, who are you Ric Flair? I had no idea he worked at Wells now.
Being over 60 and the pandemic have made it challenging but I did get an interview the other day and apparently did well as I received an email to give them permission for a background check. Shouldn't be an issue as I passed WF's. We'll see. I'm only 5 years from retirement and it's a good company, great pay and benefits and a nice way to finish my career.

nobody wanted to change jobs and lose FMLA protection during covid. there is plenty of opportunities out there.
I can agree with the other commenters response; i just left the tech and nearly double my pay. No more nights, weekends or busy working. It was best choice I ever made. You definitely wont regret it.
Now that place is just a bad dream and remember less and less every day.

I left Wells this spring after almost 15 years, and while a lot about Wells is bad, it is a big financial company, which seemed to get me a lot of notice.
