Usually my team get bunch of email from my manager when there is a deadline (required training, accepting acknowledgment, etc.), however, I am noticing, neither me nor my team have received any "reminder" to complete the self-evaluation. Wondering if there are direct order from H&R to manager to not remind folks about such important task and rather let it slip through the ho-e?

I’m “embracing candor” and “saying what I mean in the moment” by telling them that having a line item in our objectives saying “Educate yourself about unconscious bias” is absolute bullsh_t
@tji tracking that you're spending time doing what you're doing is more important than actually doing what you're doing.
The bank doesn't care if you actually do it, only that you can account for the time you recorded for trying to do it.
ITV has a whole team that sends out email reminders for stuff like this. All these so called adults need hand holding to be constantly reminded to complete evaluations, surveys, required annual trainings, and log your time in clockit. ITV even has subsets of "business management" support staff in teams like CTSDI where all they do are things like this. This is an efficient use of resources and $$$ right?
You’re an adult. You shouldn’t need hand holding. Your manager is not a helicopter parent and there are no participation trophies either.
WF has decided that that IS your manager's job. Competency is a distant second.

I have helped guide my token and unqualified manager for years in entering these. My manager is more focused on hiring POC instead of being competent at their own job.
It’s optional. There’s nothing worth doing at this place if it’s not mandatory.

They're checking to see who can follow directions when told about a task once.
It’s not required, so why would they send reminders for an optional exercise?
My self evaluation: I managed to slog through another 5 months of a suffocating, unsupportive, toxic culture and a manager who can't lead their way out of a wet paper bag. Yay for me! Fortunately, I have only depression so far, while I interview and search for other jobs away from this corporate HE-L. Yay for me! I also did all my work on time and delivered results. Does this get me at least a Meets?!
