Company response to COVID-19: still no teeth. Do you feel safe?

So they are relaxing face coverings for people that are “fully vaccinated”. How do you know they were? Especially when they say respect their decisions around vaccination. So you can’t question them if they are not masked up? I see this ending badly. I know I don’t feel safe in that environment.

I’ll respect your decision not to be vaccinated all right. Just don’t be around me at work. Until their policies have teeth, they are useless. Any medical professional will tell you that.

And they're suppressing Ivermectin because success of other therapies would prevent vaccine EUA under FDA's emergency use standards. They're botching studies of these alternatives with ridiculous and rigid dosing, and they're suppressing researchers and medical professionals who don't toe the line of orthodoxy. It's not about science anymore, it's about an agenda.

@6hgk. So you would rather put our already overtaxed and overworked health care workers at risk because you would rather wait four freaking years for FDA approval? I think most people would call you nuts.

I happen to be married to one of those health care professionals. They have put up with this cr-p for a year and a half, mostly caused by people who wouldn’t follow public health rules. Go talk to them about your refusal to get a vaccine and see how they react. Go work one day with them and see how it really is, even still. This thing is long from over. Their patients would just like to freaking breathe.

To think that someone doesn’t comprehend the difference between FDA (EUA) and FDA Approval (FDA approved or cleared product) is actually what is amazing.

So, couldn’t agree with you more…”listening and reading is a skill.”

Below are links for anyone who may want to be more informed…if haven’t seen already or other similar literature…and for those who personally may know someone who has been negatively impacted and currently dealing with health issues after getting the vaccine, know there are are those who do care and understand from both sides of the spectrum.

@6mtn. Listening and reading is a skill.

It WAS FDA approved for emergency use. Now did it go through the whole 3 to 4 year process during a pandemic? How could it?

Amazing. Simply amazing you all can’t comprehend that. Pay attention to facts not talking heads rhetoric.

To think that anyone mentioning or who has concerns about the vaccine not being FDA approved is “on rhetoric, doesn’t have a clue how long it takes to get FDA approval, lacks original thought, hasn’t done their own research, is listening to political talking heads to make one’s decisions, or is sheep” speaks volumes. Wishing only the best to you not only now but even long after the “pandemic”…

For those of you on the rhetoric that it is not FDA approved. Do you have a clue how long it takes to get FDA approval? 3-4 years at the minimum. You want to wait that long in a pandemic?

The lack of original thought from people just astounds me sometimes. Quit listening to political talking heads to make your decision and do your own research. Be advised that certain talking heads want the pandemic to get worse to further their dark agenda. Don’t be a sheep.

@uii.
It’s amazing how people don’t read or think critically for themselves but put blame on others. Go to the CDC site - the vaccine was issued under emergency use authorization and is not FDA approved. At least there who decided to take the vaccine but smart enough to know that when making such a decision, it was an educated choice knowing that when taking the vaccine, it’s an experimental vaccine with no informed consent required and minimal studies concerning long-term effects.

@2hxz+1bbsJaA4. Wrong, the vaccine does prevent infection in the 90% of the population.

I always thought that to live in a free and open society you had to things from time to time for the greater good. Imagine if people thought like you years ago when the polio vaccine was being rolled out - you'd still have to worry about your kids getting polio. So thanks for being a selfish a-ho-e. I hope you and your family don't get sick.

I am not injecting experimental vaccine especially that I can't sure the vax manufacturers if I suffer from it. My body has a well functioning immune system so I don't feel I need the vaccine. As to the herd immunity - I couldn't care less , sorry. Why should I risk damaging own health so that people who don't care about own health and damage it (and as a result are vulnerable) could benefit form it? It just doesn't make sense. In the meantime, governments are just fine maintaining the risk of a repeat of such situation by running experiments in labs like the one in Wuhan. Stop shaming and bulling people to coerce them into being a part of a fix to problem they hadn't created.

I’m feeling safe as a vaccinated person. If you don’t want the vaccine and don’t want to wear a mask, don’t expect me to care when you’re on a ventilator.

Folks, repeat after me: THE COVID VACCINE DOES NOT PREVENT COVID. On the one hand, it keeps you from experiencing the worst of its symptoms, but on the other it it does not prevent you from contracting or transmitting it.

@1mrb+1bbsJaA4

You do know that roughly 40% of people that get COVID are asymptomatic, right? Your characterization of what happens to people without the vaccine seems to be missing that 'option'.

In any event, it's amazing how many Americans have decided to believe the government and big pharma that they HAVE to get these injections, that they can't hold big pharma liable, and they they should be good little citizens and do it...because there's a disease that 99.9% of people under 70 survive. You can get injected with whatever the gov is selling, I don't really care, but I'm not doing it when COVID isn't a significant threat to someone my age/health. It's been established that the "vaccine" doesn't prevent transmission, so it's not stopping the spread of anything or any mutations the disease might undergo. It's essentially untested OTC flu medicine that if it hurts/ki--s you you can't sue anyone and the government and media would love for you to take--preferably repeatedly. Yeah, no.

Lmao really odd that those two buffoons who spout unhinged right wing talking points SOMEHOW got Covid, despite being so confident in their knowledge of it.

If you’re wondering why they post the way they do:
“A study done at Northwestern Medicine Healthcare System showed that 42% of admitted COVID-19 patients presented neurological symptoms at the onset of the disease, and 82% showed neurological symptoms overall. Nearly 32% had cognitive dysfunction (encephalopathy).”

What a ridiculous post with incorrect “facts”, patently absurd baseless assumptions on people’s behavior and other random idiocy.

I’m vaccinated, have had COVID and only carry a mask because nimrods who don’t understand science freak out sometimes. So my mask is their pacifier. Very few vaccinated people wear masks except for public places to avoid issues. Unvaccinated care but are largely too stupid to figure out where to get or too lazy to schedule it. There are also the far left anti-vaxer nimrods so prevalent in California..

As far as N95/NIOSH grade masks go, they were initially in short supply but were always available. I spent a lot of time in hospitals from February to May 2020 so I called around to a few dr-g stores and asked if anyone knew where to get some. I’d buy 20 at once. Again, it simply involves getting off of your duff. I’m just a regular guy who was medically at high risk after major surgery so it was worth it to me to make a few calls. For you, maybe not worth spending an hour on the phone.

Covid shots still don’t even have fda approval except for emergency use.

  1. Get vaccinated, get exposed, get Covid, get mildly sick or not at all.
  1. Remain unvaccinated, get exposed, get Covid, feel sick as a dog, develop breathing problems, go to the hospital, end up on a ventilator, maybe survive maybe not.

I prefer to not be exposed at all, but if I do come into contact with some unvaccinated a$$ho-e I’ll go with A.

It’s already over for anyone who understands science. Get your vaccine or get sick with COVID and beat it. I’ve actually done both. I wear a mask only to be polite to the leftist Luddites but I don’t care if nobody else wears one.

Understand the science and all is well. We lost a good year listening to the Fauci clown.

No, it's someone understanding that the situation remains fluid, mostly because of ignoramuses who refuse to take the vaccine keeping herd immunity a distant goal, and the population remaining a reservoir for new strains to arise as a result.

@ogz - If you’re afraid of being around unvaccinated people, that’s a clear admission that the vaccine you took doesn’t actually work.

I’m vaccinated, and feel pretty confident but I don’t want Covid at all. Not even a little bit. Not even if I’m an asymptomatic carrier.

So I don’t want to be around unvaccinated people. If they want to take their chances, fine, they can’t be forced to get the shot, but the rest of us have a right to know who they are, so we can continue to keep our distance.

"The shots work, people, avoid "news" sites that say otherwise."

They may "work" in that they treat symptoms, but they don't prevent transmission to others, so what relevance do they have vis a vis a mask policy?

No vaccine is 100% effective but they are mostly effective. Even the MMR shots sometimes don’t work after all these years. Flu shots range from 40-70% depending on the year and how many new strains there are. So many in the medical field questioned the 95% number at first based on this as maybe just a dr-g companies wet dreams. So far it looks to be pretty accurate. You are FAR better off with the vaccinations than none at all. What medical folks will tell you is not to let your guard down, especially since they really have no clue yet how long the protection lasts and now effective they are on new variants. Viruses evolve just like people...well, some. So maybe a booster every 6 months? A year?

@ugr+1bbsJaA4 exemplifies the logical fallacies used to construct an othering in the midst of this current event. The fallacy is that if you don't support and personally adopt Solution X to Problem A, then the popular thing is to jump to the conclusion that you must not take Problem A seriously. Being concerned or hesitant about these new injections, or around the broader erosion of privacy and personal autonomy with the discussion about passports (such as what OP is implicitly promoting for Wells) to indicate receipt of the new injections, or merely open to other solutions to the problem ostensibly being solved by the new injections, does not mean one does not take the underlying pandemic or its implications seriously. To the contrary, many people are wearing masks, avoiding high-risk situations, or taking prophylactic therapies with a similar efficacy rate such as prophylactic Ivermectin as other effective solutions to the pandemic problem.

Requiring vaccinations has been settled law since 1905.

If the company wants you to get a shot, you still have a choice not to, but you may need to get another job.

The shots work, people, avoid "news" sites that say otherwise.

That said, I've always been a remote worker and want to stay that way.

I think a lot of you are missing the point. Are they going to make you show proof of vaccination? Otherwise are they taking your word for it? Bad idea because the poster that said the unvaccinated will not care is right. After all, they don’t care about our health care workers that have had to take care of them. Then how about when boosters come along and you know they have to? Lots of factors here.

Given the numerous VAERS reports of second-hand injury to non-injected people, now compounded by a new Japanese government-conducted biodistribution study explaining the method by which toxic spike proteins are escaping injected people's shoulder muscle and adjacent draining lymph nodes (in a way not seen with traditional vaccines) to collect in and potentially damage heart tissue, bone marrow, ovaries and other organs, break the blood-brain barrier to create neurological problems, and be expelled via breath and other vectors, I'm relieved to know that people who have recently received the injection are likely to wear masks to protect their colleagues who have not been injected. Maybe Wells should be requiring recently-vaccinated people to wear masks when we return to the office.

Vaccination doesn't prevent transmission, the manufacturers tell us that. Why should whether or not you've got the vaccine impact mask policy in ANY way? You could still carry and transmit the disease to others so, who cares about whether you got the shot or not?

I bet the vaccinated will be in the masks. Unvaccinated don't really care. They know they can handle it, already have had covid or simply surrender to whatever the consequence/fate.

N95 is how you can tell the level of seriousness about it. Unless you wear N95/NIOSH grade mask, there is some exposure. But hey, in this country they don't allow regular folks buying them.

Truth be told, now that I'm fully vaccinated, I don't much care what other people do because they're not going to ki-l me. The virus is still there and if you choose not to be vaccinated, it's on you. I would like to see vaccine passports though to keep the anti vaxxers out of the office.
