Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Are you trying to find reasons to get upset?

I swear, people here will find the most obscure and ridiculous reasons to get upset over. It's like a bunch of you are intentionally seeking out things that you can rant about while clutching your pearls. There are some legitimate grievances here, but some of the things are really out there. Keep it up, though, at least it's entertaining.

Yes, millennials were prevented from learning some of the biggest life lessons by overprotective helicopter parents. A lost coddled generation has been given so much, but sheltered from he real world.

I think this is a legit post and a sign of the bigger problem - society and the expectation of those who want things without having to work for them. Most likely this is from the "Participation Generation" and all those kids who got trophy's even though their teams lost all the time. Now we have millions of kids from that generation thinking they deserve raises and promotions just for showing up once in a while. And they can't understand why they get some negative feedback or coaching when they don't do well in their job. Yes - I live this every day here as a manager of a large team.

If you do not like the posts on here, go somewhere else, Shi!bag. Nobody is making you read them. And nobody cares what your arrogant opinion is either.

It’s pretty simple:

  1. Read and pay attention to what makes you happy, or gives you the information you’re looking for, and disregard the rest.
  1. Let each person get what they want or need from this site, and don’t judge.
  1. Take a break from the site if it is frustrating you or dragging you down.
  1. Be kind to yourself and others.

Definitely agree and people's responses are increasingly toxic. Someone makes a valid complaint and undoubtedly another person responds telling that person to find another job. Anything positive posted is meant with several negative posts, it's basically become Facebook. It is what it is I guess, I just have a problem when race is brought up, it's uncalled for.

Way too many 'first world' problems. Some of it is funny but mostly it's pretty pathetic. Sign of the times I guess.

Agreed. Lots of hyperbole too. Like the guy yesterday that called his do-nothing mouse clicking / typing job "the worst job I can imagine". Yeah, ok bro. Try being a coal miner or a soldier etc. Our office bound white collar jobs are really not that hard.
