Oh no

Not Charlie going on a town hall saying how great the quarantine has been for him and telling a living veteran happy Memorial Day

I have a few Vet friends that feel the same way. They say it was a miserable experience, didn't pay well, you couldn't resign and people tried to ki-l you. They don't want to hear, talk or think about it.

If you served, it's your right to do as you wish and to anyone who served, thank you for your service.

@OP. Happy stalking Charlie. Keep up the good work. Make sure you come back here and report to us when he sneezes

Not sure how many vets you know, but most of my buddies find the 'thank you for your service' comments to be an awkward conversation. Every vet is a unique individual in this area though.

Charlie’s hero Obama saw ghosts on Memorial Day, saying that he saw many fallen soldiers with us here in the crowd.

But it gets better… at a Navy speech he referred to “Navy “Corpse men” who were in the crowd.

I have a couple of friends who are vets, and they preferred to be thanked for their service rather than to be wished 'happy memorial day'.

Friendly neighborhood vet checking in. There's nothing wrong with telling anyone "happy memorial day". A person can be happy that there are so many heroes willing to make the ultimate sacrifice in order to preserve the freedoms of others. I can't think of many things we should be more happy about. If a person wants to spend the day reflecting on the situation quietly, ok. If others want to BBQ and have a good time (as good of an embodiment of freedom as any other) with family, good for them. Bottom line, we all get to do what we want that day because someone else sacrificed all their tomorrows.

You must be bored if all you have to do is hang off every word Charlie says and rebroadcast it here.
