I’m not sure if anyone caught it in Thursday’s town-hall, but Scott Powell alluded to floor segregation for the vaccinated vs unvaccinated. He mentioned WF was following the CDC guidelines to try and have the vaccinated not wear mask but it was based on Square footage, building by building, and city by city. The “square footage” piece is what jumped out to me that segregated floors was a strong possibility. Which in theory would be an excellent solution to reduce liability lawsuits. WF can say to the vaccinated that with separated floors and elevator banks, these protocols were put in place to protect. It also would be hard to prove the break through cases were actually caught in the work place vs another location ie grocery stores. Not to mention, they can say the unvaccinated took on the inherit risk and we’re given “4-hours of pto” as well as a opportunity to get the shot without cost. They would be able to prove pretty easily that these risks were avoidable but a choice of that employee. I’m sorry to say but the floor segregation is pretty genius if that’s what they decide to do. This entire time I’ve been trying to figure out how this rollout would be possible.

Will there also be segregated elevators, eating areas in the cafe, toilets, water fountains, etc? Gee...where have we seen this before...
Some of us can’t have the vaccine and even if we can we still have to wear masks due to medical reasons (chemo patients etc).
I assure you in vaccinated folks will not be returning to the office… these folks will be bundled up with the push to have folks near a hub.. already staring so…
Fight back - tell them you are not vaccinated even if you are. They cant legally verify it either way.
And if they demand you meet staff face to face, tell them you have a religious exemption against vaccine, but you are still concerned you will get sick from someone else.
Question how they are going to sterilize the air to protect you - are they putting UV in the air handlers between floors (i doubt it)? Did they do any measurements to make sure that circulated air cant contain covid?
Remember USA is a very religious country - and the one area of protection you DO have is religious protection, and that includes the workplace.
The bank MUST provide de minus accommodations for your religious observances.
Dont be afraid to use religion to fight back; if they decide to retaliate or be diks over your religious beliefs (even if fake), you got grounds for an instant lawsuit:

I don’t know why anybody would have a problem with this. Everyone makes the decision that feels right for them, and Wells is protected from frivolous lawsuits.
@jce+1bZiAv5J where I work the elevator banks can only go to certain floors within the building. Badge access is required by floor and to certain elevator banks. Floors 1-12 are one elevator 13-26 are different badging. A person must submit badge access to any floor other than the one they are assigned. It would be pretty easy to monitor
When asked at the town hall last quarter whether vaccination will be required, CS said no, it’s a personal choice that will be respected. Asked this quarter and he used a dictionary full of words that included virtually every word in the English language EXCEPT yes or no. I think we all know what that means.
Eventually we'll all be vaccinated -- just not always the way we'd planned.

Besides the "us vs them" concerns, this may literally be unintended racial segregation. If transmission via surfaces, HVAC, and proximity are true, then will they have separate cleaning people on each floor.
Everyone at the front desk will be at risk. Everyone waiting on elevators or passing through the lobby too. Something is not right. This isn't thought out well at all.

I heard on the anti vax floor we are going to make all the anti vaxers wear some kind of markings on and put a sign at the elevator that says “work sets you free”.

This kind of segregation is really the only way to make RTO work for everyone. Of course it would mean counting on the people on the non-vaccinated floors to wear masks and wear them properly. Otherwise all it would take would be for one person to get Covid and come to the office to turn work into a super-spreader event.
But - they couldn't blame Wells and that's all that matters.
