I’d definitely hold out with so many irons in the fire. You HAVE a job for now, so why not take your time and be sure you’re making the best career decision possible?

@fcp. It's a gamble, anyway. My first layoff, I got a super huge jump in salary but the work environment was toxic and harassing. After leaving there, I came here and got a huge decrease in salary, but my work environment was tolerable and I would rather have lesser pay for peace of mind than a huge salary and be miserable. You just have to chance it. I guess.

Hold out for something you’ll be really happy with. If you take a pay cut or jump just to jump you’ll regret it eventually.

Nobody is bragging @blp+1bX5psqX. Lot of people (by the posts on this board) are very uncomfortable here. And we all know Chainsaw wants us to quit, so who in their right mind would not look elsewhere?! Can you blame me? That's what lots of us are doing, and we're faced with decisions like this. It's a lot of work finding another job, and especially finding one at a place that values you and treats you fairly. I'm sure many people would take a reasonable pay cut to go to a better work environment and I too am considering it, though I don't really have to, I just have to be patient and patience is really hard when you work in this culture. This is what TM disengagement looks like, thanks to ELT.

On this forum we led to believe everyone who left here got big bump in pay or is that just BS.

Good luck OP, seriously. Like you said, you finding another opportunity could literally save someone's job here at WF, so you'd be doing both yourself and your coworkers a solid!

Go tell someone who cares

String the first place along a few days while you interview. Tell them you’re doing so and use those offers as leverage for higher pay if you still like the first place best.
