Branch managers will have multiple branches, aligning with shocking Chase Bank. So layoffs for BM’s. A branch manager said this is coming soon. Anyone else heard this?

Go to the feds website and look up branch address closures for WF.
Go to your state website and look for WF layoff numbers.
Bank has to provide this information to both.
Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
Oh the horror...
In my area, there are two branches on the same street about a mile apart. Consolidating management would make sense.
I don’t think I’ve set foot in a bank branch 5 times in the last 5 years.
It’s coming. Digital services are getting the biggest push, since that’s where the money is. Branch attendance as a whole is done for many banks. We will see many of our competitors do the same, just like how online shopping is ki----g off brick and mortar stores.
If Chase is doing it, you can bet they will here later. Copycat Chuckles.
Don't forget it's public knowledge WF will close 1400 branches. I'm sure they will also consolidate branch manager roles to more "regional" manager roles with one person responsible for multiple branches. "Do more with less".

Getting rid of regional managers, and branch managers, and a bunch of branches. Thing are sure looking up in retail banking!
Heard the same, mostly about small branches where head counts are low.
