What would happen if nobody showed up in the office come September? If every single employee decides to stay home? If everybody was to continue to work from home? They can't really fire everybody, can they? Even they know they need at least some people to do the work. I know it would never happen, but it's a nice thought - especially imagining Charlie's face when he learned about it.

I have a family. I need my job. I will go to the office and do my work. Paycheck continuation trunks comfort.

Tell them you were around someone that tested positive for Covid and you need to wfh. When that week or two is up-whoops it happened again. Better yet, tell them you came into the office after seeing them so everyone has to go home. You can rotate who in the office says it each time.
Charles, is that you? He would love for this to happen. LOVE it. Perfect excuse to fire people with no severance and give bad reviews / raises to everyone else. This is the worst plan ever.

The only problem Charlie will have is the shot show he started BNY. He lied then and obviously has not learned from his decisions. He likes work in office. I cannot say for this S-B to move on.

You should be thankful that at least for now, it isn’t 100% back to the office - that they are doing a hybrid. I’m sure you’ll complain about just going to the office to get on conference calls…
