Well at the very least the affairs can start back up. I am sure lots of people are going to be relieving stress with new friends thanks to our new waterkoolaid.

Water coolers are so last century. Back in prehistoric times when everyone had an office, the water cooler was where you saw and socialized with co-workers.
Now in these new enlightened open office times, you can just spin your chair around and talk at whoever you want whenever you want. And they can talk at you.
So much more productive!
Bunch of filthy bastards.
Hi! I’m Sally, L&D, what’s your name and job function?
Hi! Jane, Technology.
Hi Jane, I have no idea what you do, nor you I, but I’d love your thoughts on this curriculum I’m currently redesigning! Shall we have another paper cup of water and discuss, instead of actually doing our jobs? Innovation and all.
I thought Charlie though our "team member" and being part of a team/family was unprofessional so he renamed us employees. Just your average unknown peon. And now they try to say they want us to build connections locally?
The water cooler is in the flex cube you were assigned for the day. Have fun!
Or at home! lol
@rbh, So I guess no “best friend at work”, huh?
Most locations don't pay for water to be delivered anymore. That said, it's an expression that isn't always literal. The chat could happen anywhere.
Every idea I've ever pitched has gone of deaf ears. That's the Wells Fargo way.
I suggest approaching random people in the break room with the offer of a coffee and an exchange of innovative ideas. See how long it takes for people to steer clear of you 😃
The water cooler aspect of Chuckle’s comments was the most out of touch thing he could have middle-age, white, heteros-xual, mansplained at us. I go to work to work, then I leave. That’s it. I don’t care about my coworkers, their kids, their vacations, or their weekend plans. Just get in and get out. He makes it sound like a country club. What a joke.
This site IS the watercooler... You take a break from work and browse here to see what others are saying
And the kool aid station?
It's located outside the restrooms so you don't really want to loiter
the water is in the vending machine and it will cost you $2
Lol
😂
Dude.
