Can severance be paid out in installments?

Or is it always a lump sum?

Your medical benefits continue if you take the bi-weekly payout until it's all paid out.

U have option for the bi-weekly payout or the lump sum. I'd take the bi-weekly since u will be taxed less.

Yeah why would someone downvote yet another snide “read the handbook” comment? Quite the mystery, it must be all these toxic people

This place is full of toxic employees, who quixotically complain of toxicity relentlessly. Even when you try to help them they resent/hate you. Best not to worry about it. Downvotes often = "truth" here.

I'm not sure why anyone would down vote the correct answer. Maybe they don't want to read the employee handbook for details of what was a very clear explanation.

SOP is that you get paid every 2 weeks just like you do now. The only time a lump sum comes into play is if you accept a job elsewhere during the SCP period. Read the employee handbook.
