This is the (public figure) banking reporter for the Charlotte Observer, who reports on banking news/WF there. The prior reporter at this desk, Austin Weinstein, has posted here in the past looking for our insight, so I feel this is not out of line to post.
If Wells has gone back on their word or imposed these arbitrary hardships on you, you need to tell the press. This is an underhanded move to force attrition, is against good business sense, and is outright dangerous given the Covid situation. Stories have been written on the RTO plan in general, but only us insiders are able to give the details regarding the risks being imposed on those with disabilities and various homelife situations just to avoid the cost of layoffs. The public is not aware of the true nature of the plan, and shareholders, employees and everyone in between needs to know the truth.
