I was on a call with a large audience today. Someone asked if we were still going back to the office in Sept. The answer was Yes and that a company wide announcement was imminent in the next 5 to 10 days. They also said we'd be going back in waves.
Those hoping the Delta variant will crimp RTO after Labor Day, you are likely out of luck it sounds like. Grrr.
So in MO i wonder what the mayor and health department think of the 5k returning? Some managers are setting up for the return and they are making no changes in desk configuration for social distancing.

Employees working remote tend to not be getting infected with Covid and are deemed more productive than ever before. Not looking forward to getting back to the two hour commute back and forth into the office when I could be spending that time working on my IT project work remotely.

The announcement is coming tomorrow, with notes from each OC member following on Friday. As of this morning, they were still figuring out what to do about unvaccinated employees since they don't want to reward them for bad behavior by letting them stay home.
First wave starts September 8th, next wave two weeks later, final wave in early/mid October. Ops in full time, staff groups in minimum of 3 days/week, allowing a ramp up to that through end of year.
Town hall is the 22nd. The announcement will be before then.
News states those vaccinated that still get Covid do not tend to die from it. While the unvaccinated getting the Delta variant of Covid are dying from it, and quicker than from the other covid variants, and the victims tend to be younger now.
Then what’s the point of getting vaccinated?
The point is the difference between a head cold and a month in the hospital with a machine doing your breathing for you.

According to the Israel National News article 40% of individuals which were fully vaccinated have been infected with the Delta variant. It also said individuals who got coronavirus naturally had better resistance to the Delta virus than the ones which had been vaccinated. This just shows the government has screwed up again can anyone list anything they have ever done right.
