Steve’s replacement will come in the way of a well-respected BofA Exec.

Troutner is a great leader and a class act who cared about his team. He is a stand up guy who is in my prayers.

He elevated the art of job hopping to the level of an Olympic sport.  If he returns to the corporate world it will undoubtedly be at another competitor.  He never stuck around long enough at his various gigs to cement lasting value.

Troutner sent an email saying that he had a recurrence of cancer. He indeed did leave to take care of himself and spend time with his family. For any of you who have had the good fortune not to have had cancer personally, or had a friend or family member go through it - when it's a recurrence that is very, very serious. He is a great leader and we would do well to have more like him - it's a huge loss.

So...can we expect some sort of (another) foul-up with the PPP program to be announced by the OCC putting us further behind on getting the consent order lifted?

Also is this first crack in Mary Mack's wall of protection?

Steve is a good man. Before he left he sent an email to his team sharing his reasons why he was leaving. If you don’t know you should just let it be and let a good man have his privacy. Gloating about it is the height of disgusting.

This is great, now I can hire a drinking buddy from JPM!

Troutner isn't a sociopathic vampire. He actually cares about people, even strangers. Steve didn't fit in.

I'm sure his role will be filled by a JPM bloodsucker.
