Telesales is where it’s at. Is it for everyone? No. But there is definitely money to be made. You rarely hear reps complain. Why? We are making money sitting down and no face to face. If it’s not a sales call, buh bye. All we do is sell and if you are good you can make good money. Anyone saying you can’t isn’t in telesales.
"It's been difficult to even make $1k commission check. Beware of those that are saying 2k+ as those are few and far away from the norm
Too many agents now, sometimes there is 10-20min between calls.
I'll be expecting a cut in telesales staff around the corner."
There is a 1 second wait between calls everyday but Saturday. They are hiring 300 more agents. The worst telesales rep makes over 1k a month. I know people making 5k+ they almost work 48 hours a week every week. Just craziness I need days off work.
"Telesales is alright . Average comission check is about $1,500-$2,000, however it sure does beat driving to a store and getting yelled by a boomer because we can’t reset his Facebook password …"
HAHAH this is prob pretty normal range for the comp checks people I work with. Working at home vs being trapped in the clown suit denim shirt can't even be compared. Take your breaks when you want take your lunch when you want.
"Telesales is over staffed. Too many were allowed to switch from Retail. The Covid bump of calls is over."
The only day that doesn't have 100-400 Que all day is Saturday since it's about 90% staffing.
It's been 10 months. I work my 40 hours a week, lowest comp check so far is $2700, biggest is a little under 4k. Telesales isn't for everyone but if you can do it, you making 90k working 40 hours a week. People who are really good that working 48 hours a week making over 100k easy.
I went from the store to Telesales before the Holidays. Pay is stupid good. better than I ever made in the store. It's a grind but most people I know left in the store are either leaving or already left.
Anyone that let fear make them stay late last summer (telesales, remote customer advocate), after their store closed for good. Be prepared, the covid swell of calls has passed. Get your resumes updated..
10-20 minutes in between calls??? Proves you sure don’t work in telesales

Telesales is definitely still a thing, they are hiring and making more money that ever. Out pacing people with much hirer bands and responsibilities. Seriously the best job in the company. Apply now

Ok if you say so 😂🤣
@1pvn+1bORs7YP Collectively telesales is not making a shitload of money. I know five people who work in telesales and everyone makes between 1k-1.5k a month. BFD. The quotas are super high and half the calls coming in aren’t even sales related. Those who make more are working 50-60 hours facts. Thanks but no thanks.
We are making a shitload of money. Nothing to complain about
Yes it is still there. Good news its mismanagement is leading the company
I can’t tell you how many times I call customer service or core and hang up because I know it’s just a waste of mine and the customers’ time. I’m sure they feel the same way about corporate and indirect retail since there is no communication. Verizon can’t even get employees on the same page.
