For those wondering about the VDI that's coming, here's verbatim what was sent out in March about this from Saul. Was not sent company wide, but rather to mostly technology folks. And, the VDI portion was at the bottom of the entire article which I highly recommend folks read.
"Another technology improvement employees can expect is VDI, or virtual desktop infrastructure. Instead of needing a corporate device, we're offering you your virtual computer session that you can use from anywhere on any device. If yo work at the office, you will log on using a small "VDI box" instead of the traditional desktop or company-provisioned laptop. And when you work from home, you use your own personal desktop or laptop for work. This will take away the need to provision and patch 360,000 computer devices (desktop and laptops) around the company. We expect to roll out the program to about 75,000 employees by year end, with the remaining transition taking place in 2022."
