Agreed 👇 The vaccines were developed and produced so quickly - who knows what the long term effects will be. I’m not anti-vaccine either, but there are just too many unknowns. It would be safer if they pushed RTO out a little longer.

Vaccine normally take 10-15 years to reach approval. I am not anti vax, I am just interested in waiting to see what happens over the next few years. My body, my choice right?

According to this rare diseases database, Giullian-Barre syndrome naturally occurs in around 2 out of every 100,000 people each year.

2 out of 100,000 x 128 = 256 people, so the vaccinated population has less than half the normal occurrence you would expect of that disease.

There is no anti vax agenda. I just dont want to pump myself full of experimental untested garbage. Johnson and johnson is now being evaluated for causing auto immune disorder Guillan-Barre syndrome.

We do not trust our government, its rhetoric or its inefficiencies especially in a highly politicized environment catalyzed by media and neither should you.

At the very least you need to develop a respectful caution for what they come up with and resist any faceless org telling you what to do.

Just goes to show the anti vaxxers will do anything to promote their deadly agenda.

Unfortunately they are the ones the health care workers in my family have had to deal with for 18 months because they won’t listen to how to protect public health.

My wife works for another big financial firm, and while they’re leaning toward a 3 days in the office and 2 days at home plan, they can’t seem to make up their minds when to do it. They want September too, but many are saying 2022. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if WF ended up doing the same in the end.

Our leadership seems to be flustered right now at best and at worst appears to be dogmatically loyal and stubborn to their own self-think about RTO and all the latest MBA non-sense re Agile, Scrum teams, etc, etc ...

Decisions are being made that may not be in anyone's best interest.

I have nothing to offer other than my hope and prayers that those in charge will make the right decisions and that those decisions include our health, welfare, and wellbeing. Stock's will tank if this gets worse... RTO or not.

This isn't just about COVID and Delta variants (which are making lots of people super sick right now). It's also about whether people really need to be in the office, putting themselves at risk of getting sick from COVID, Flu, Colds, etc. 80% of the roles here do NOT need to be present in an office every day. I work with people all over the country, not in a single location. I haven't even had a boss/manager in my office or resident state the entire time working here and have been highly productive remote. I don't need a babysitter!

FURTHERMORE, in every role so far, the LOB leadership made the decision to push us to remote work status, because they didn't want to pay the lease space to CPG. But now all the sudden working in the office is paramount/required come Sept?! C'mon Man! I'm borrowing a line from Biden. C'mon Man! It's not, at all! I can log in at 7AM from home and do more work from 7 to 9am that most people do all day, because I don't have to fight traffic.

I am fully vaccinated, but I have no desire to be in a crowded office sharing desktops, elevators, and exposing myself to more risk of germs, covid, flu and cold germs just to show my face in an office where my manager and 90% of my team members won't be anyway. It makes NO SENSE. But this is all part of their game to pi-s people off so they can get more attrition and forced resignations. So I'm working on finding another job. This is what Chainsaw wants anyway.

Thanks to whoever it was that provided the link. What I see in the CDC report is that over 331M doses of the vaccine have been administered in the US, while 5946 people have died. While 6K people dying over a seven-month period might sound alarming, the data can't show whether the deaths are a result of the vaccine, nor does it tell us what the background rate of death might have been. As someone else noted, 0.0018% of doses resulting in death sounds actually low.

I don’t know any of you on this site who are complaining about the dangers of going back to the office, but if I did I’d tell you that I sure as h3ll better not catch out eating dinner in a crowded restaurant, standing in line at Target, or sitting in the theater watching Black Widow. There’s no way for you to know whether you’re walking through someone’s COVID breath cloud at the office, a restaurant, a store, or a theater. So if you’re going to whine and complain, do us all a favor and do it at home and leave the rest of us to live our lives as we see fit. You know, like freedom loving Americans used to do?

There are experts who are also concerned that the current vaccination program could cause COVID to mutate into something worse than without widespread vaccination.

It is still better than letting the virus go completely unchecked.

You do realize NO vaccine is 100% effective right? There is no certainty in anything basically, that is life. But you anti-vaxxers will continue to find excuses. Even the MMR which has been out for years is not 100% effective.

Your lack of concern for your fellow citizens and especially health care workers is telling and exposes your character. But that’s the all about me Twitter society for you.

Queue the fear po-n..... I see you are blaming you friend (who tested negative) for your infection, but had you been anywhere else ? or when you leave your house do you wear a hazmat suit ? As your experience shows, the experimental vaccine does not prevent you contracting (or spreading....if indeed you are correct) the virus.

We are not close to being over it as long as the unvaccinated id--ts allow the virus to mutate. Eventually vaccination won’t matter because it will mutate to that point.

But it’s all about them not public health, just like the anti-mask crowd. Americans are so stupid a lot of times especially the all about me Twitter crowd.

They don't care. We will send all the sheep back into the office to hotel seats to spread germs, maybe that is another covert strategy to reduce headcount - get people sick. Will result in more ppl taking sick time and away from work.
