My experience was nasty to say the least. As an older worker and vulnerable to COVID, the 'politics' I experienced in the workplace and the fact I raised my hand about it was the reason I was displaced. I took my 60 days and severance and ended up landing a position for more $$, better benefits and a non-toxic culture. WF was the worst work experience in my life and I'm glad to be rid of it!

The OP doesn't understand math. If you're vaccinated you're going to be fine.
Also, I'm a decade past 50, took a few months off, and then got a better job with more money in less than a week of looking.
Getting hired depends on what you do and you're skillset.
Being old and vaccinated isn't scary, don't say things about topics you don't understand.
Way to dehumanize and marginalize 50% of humanity.
Thinking in absolutes all the time is for the weakminded. The kind of people who hide in thier homes for a year and drive with masks on while by themselves or biking.

Pfizer themselves just said this morning that their shot is now only 65% effective against Delta and want authorization for a booster. The CDC and WHO are saying it is not necessary yet apparently.
Is this a corporate money grab or real science? You never know, I guess.
You can die anytime anywhere. Fear only makes that journey miserable.
You cannot control any of this stuff, juat your response to it so live without fear but with sober judgement.
Pfizer's vaccine is 85% effective against the delta variant. Across all variants, it's 95% effective, while the Moderna (the next-best one) is below 70%.
The rest are about as effective as a flu shot in a good year.
The wfh is being discontinued just about everywhere. I have been interviewing and they all ask me if I have problems returning to the office. It's not just Wells Fargo forcing employees to come back. Quit if you don't want to come back. Matter of fact, that's why a position was open that I am interviewing for was open. She didn't want to come back so she quit. Can't have it both ways.

Wait, so they have enough data to come up with that 64% number or they pulled it out of the rabbit's a$$ again? That bunny's been so busy lately. We need reliable data and independent entities to do the analysis at a granular level, not that I don't trust the data and the reports currently available for mass consumption, sponsored by various industrial complexes that have out best intentions at heart, of course.
