RTO Update - Communication next week

“Communication regarding RTO has been delayed this week due to the enterprise pausing to rethink a few components of the strategy. No specific details behind the pause or what the strategy will look like. A revised communication is targeted for next week”. … taken directly from an email that just came in this morning. FYI.

How great to read a post from an intelligent, well educated poster who most certainly moved here from the heartland… where educational institutions still function and an “A” is not code for a “C-“.

All the lulz to you people wanting to continue milking Covid to stay at home. Get over it. If you're still working at WF, you will be back in the office in September. If you don't like it, get a different job. Oh, that's right. You have no real skillset that brings value to any business.

Correct. And like our other peers, if you can’t/won’t prove you’re vaccinated, you get put on a separate floor with others who also can’t/won’t prove they’re vaxxed. Masks all day. Multiple Covid nasal swabs a week.

Everyone else no masks, no tests. The companies are protecting those who chose to protect themselves and others.

While the National vaccination number is slightly below 50%, there are enormous pockets in the country that are over 70% and thus achieving quasi-herd immunity. However as far as a company goes, while one can't sue due to proving where they contracted covid, companies definitely open themselves up to lawsuits when forcing workers into close proximity in buildings- especially when they had been previously working from home without issue. Possible new variant covid waves may be occurring as well, whereby office reinhabitation will be pushed off again. Very d-mb to begin pushing people back into offices right now.

My wife’s company, a large global bank, has pretty much settled on a 60/40 plan. 3 days office, 2 days home. Starting in the fall.

I wonder if their inability to settle on a plan has anything to do with getting a cr@ppy response to the vaccination survey.

Literally the last line from the NEJM linked article:

"Thus, protective immunity conferred by the mRNA vaccines is most likely retained against the B.1.617.1 and B.1.617.2 variants."

What is scary is for us older workers : over 50 years of age.
The risk of dying from COVID-19 after being fully vaccinated depends on people's age, The older a person is, the more likely they are to die from infection if it breaks through the protection given by the vaccines. The
efficacy rate drops to 64 percent against the Delta variant from 95 percent.

Only 47% in the US are fully vaccinated. Probably one of the smaller percentages among so-called civilized nations mainly because of damn fools and people listening to the wrong talking heads who know absolutely nothing about medical science.

Any reasonably intelligent person can do the math. You are just asking for deep sh!t forcing people back to an office under those conditions. It would be a cluster to beat all clusters.

On the other hand, no one at WF is proactive, just reactive and copycats. Let’s hope our competition makes smarter moves they can copy.

Here's some info on Delta from Fox News: https://www.foxnews.com/health/delta-variant-gains-ground-among-unvaccinated

"To the unvaccinated, though, the Delta variant poses an elevated threat. It is some 50% more transmissible than the Alpha variant that had been the most common strain in the U.S. since March, and scientists believe Delta is associated with more severe disease. CDC Director Rochelle Walensky said on Thursday that preliminary data collected from a set of U.S. states over the past six months showed that 99.5% of people who died of Covid-19 were unvaccinated.

'It is clear that communities where people remain unvaccinated are communities that remain vulnerable,' she said."

Aren't corona virus mutations making the virus less powerful, less deadly but more infectious than the original virus?

So basically it is allowed to keep mutating and possibly getting worse because the virus keeps getting spread by the unvaccinated.

I think that pretty much proves the point a lot of folks are making about getting vaccinated to stop this cr-p.

Sure you're not confusing studies with reports?

A peer-reviewed report from scientists in France, published Thursday in the journal Nature, found that the delta variant has mutations that allow it to evade some of the neutralizing antibodies produced by vaccines or by a natural infection. A single shot of a two-dose vaccine “barely” offers any protection.

But the experiments found that fully vaccinated people — with the recommended regimen of two shots of the Pfizer-BioNTech or AstraZeneca vaccine — should retain significant protection against the delta variant. That echoes another report written by a collaboration of scientists in the United States and published Wednesday in the New England Journal of Medicine.

“Studies” are usually sponsored by someone with an agenda, and usually give the results that the people footing the bill want.

How big a sample was it? How long ago were they vaccinated? What other conditions did they have? We’re they infected before they were vaccinated?

You can make numbers say whatever you want based on assumptions and how you fudge them.

@hea A couple of people in my family had the virus and lost their taste and smell for MONTHS. So MY choice to get vaccinated was solely based on the horror I felt at the idea that I would not be able to smell or taste my coffee first thing in the morning. Hand to God, true story.

Several studies indicate that the current vaccines are NOT effective against the delta variant. Look them up. They’re not hard to find. In fact a UK study showed that those who ARE vaccinated are 7 TIMES MORE LIKELY TO DIE from the delta variant than those who have not been vaccinated. However, the same study also showed that the overall case mortality rate for the delta variant is 0.13%. (ZERO point one three percent!) So for you “sheeple” hating on those who choose not to vax, maybe you should get yourselves informed or just shut up. Better to say nothing and just have people think you’re stupid than to speak up and remove all doubt.

  1. S. - I am NOT an anti-vaxer. In fact I did get vaccinated. But that was MY personal choice, and I choose not to criticize anyone else for their personal choice. Whether YOU choose to vax or not is YOUR choice and none of my business.

I'm a strong proponent of vaccines, but since everyone can get and spread COVID (even the vaccinated) isn't the truth actually that all of us would contribute to its evolution -- not just the unvaccinated?

Those are my concerns as well. It's shocking to me how so many on this board understand what's going on at Wells Fargo - stifling the voice of team members, playing people against each other, launching initiatives with ulterior motives - but they naively think big government and big corporations are being honest to them when telling them how to respond to a crisis. If, separate from COVID, Chuck told all of us to have a substance injected into our bodies to keep our jobs, would you trust him? You have a healthy skepticism about what's going on at WF - now use that skepticism for self preservation more broadly.

People are so clueless about these vaccines and the pandemic.

  • The World Economic Forum, Gates Foundation, and others co-hosted "Event 201" in October 2019 to simulate (prepare) for a coronavirus pandemic weeks before it started popping up in the wild.
  • A lab "leak" hypothesis was chided as unacceptably unorthodox thinking for a year but now suddenly became mainstream. It appears to be a near certainty that the current virus was a human scientific creation through gain of function research, and the main question is now whether that was a leak or was intentional.
  • Many globalists are seeking to eliminate 90%+ of the world's population (Georgia Guidestones, neo-Malthusian publications by the Rockefeller Institute, etc.) and are very open about this.
  • World Economic Forum and allied leaders and institutions worldwide had their "Build Back Better" and "Great Reset" talking points aligned and ready to go after the pandemic and lockdowns took hold. As they say openly, "You will own nothing and you will be happy."
  • Polymerase Chain Reaction testing uses amplification techniques which, after a certain level of cycles, can detect nearly any genetic material - amplification cycles that far exceed what the creators of the technology think produces any real results.
  • For the first time ever, patients and their providers are given a yes/no test result rather than an analog test result to interpret as a sign of infection or lack of infection.
  • For the first time in history, you are now responsible for the health and well-being of others to protect against a pathogen which you can spread without being symptomatic.
  • Just like the lab leak hypothesis was suppressed for over a year because of the politicization of science, alternative therapies such as Ivermectin are now being suppressed. You're being told it's a qanon or political conspiracy as a ploy to make you disbelieve your eyes, when the science is apolitical and those of us on the left have a long and well-justified history of distrusting the pharma industry (which would be out billions of dollars if they were unable to get EUAs because alternative, generic, long-established, low-risk therapies were acknowledged as effective).
  • We do not know if mRNA or other viral vector gene therapies are safe or effective. They were not safe or effective on animals in the decades they were studied, which is why they were studied so long without bringing them to human trials let alone bringing them to market.
  • Initial evidence suggests they are not safe or effective to the degree claimed, particularly Japanese regulator's biodistribution report data which shows how nanolipid particles, indicative of mRNA distribution and thus where cytotoxic spike proteins will accumulate, move out of the deltoid muscle within an hour and accumulate in the heart, brain, and other crucial organs within 48 hours. Ovaries were the top location for accumulation after 48 hours.
  • There's a larger agenda at play, forces that seek to enslave you. The creation of a pandemic and forcing you to get an injection fits into their model perfectly. A future where you cannot participate in the economy without submitting to their agenda. Your fellow Wells employees are advocating for that future within this very thread. Government doesn't need to enslave you when they can have corporatists do their bidding.
  • World Economic Forum leaders are starting their "Cyber Polygon" simulation in conjunction with major American and worldwide companies and think thanks tomorrow. Their leaders are already calling a "cyber pandemic" something that would dwarf the impact of COVID. It's entirely possible that this entire dialog about the pandemic and responses thereof will appear to be nearly inconsequential in comparison for what they're simulating / preparing for our world next.

I really don't care about you, your politics, your religion. Literally, I don't care. What I do care about is people who won't get vaccinated the same way I care about drunk drivers whose poor decisions can impact others. You'll be vaccinated eventually - just not at a time and place of your own choosing so keep playing stupid games and you'll win stupid prizes.
