I stopped using large banks 20 year's ago. I bank at my local bank. I still go to the bank and see the same employees that have been there for year's. My local bank is not in the headlines for corruption. The banks board of directors are all local folks that I know, or know of.

Credit union.
Credit Union. Also, I got better interest rates on mortgage outside WFC.
Brokerage people have to keep their investment accounts in WFA so might as well keep the banking in one location.
Sure, I bank with WF and they have been fine.
I bank at another large bank. Been there since my early 20s. They won't give me a job, though.
@hzh if you're in certain departments with specific regulations and policies they know about your non-WF banking as well.
Wells Fargo knows enough about me as an employee. I don't need them looking under my financial hood too. I bank elsewhere and would never consider Wells as my place to bank. Goes for credit cards too.
Moved all my WF accounts outside of CC (for the discount) to Charles Schwab Bank 2 years ago.
Sure there are a few irritations, but far better than the customer experience I've had with any major US bank.
Get off my lawn. I'm right and everyone else is an id--t.

40 and picking on old people on a message board without any reasons. What I do is none of your business. Grow up and get a life! Didn’t your parents teach you anything?
Local regional. I will never bank at my own employer. Never.
I have been using local bank for years. Credit unions are great too from my experience.
Credit Union for me too.
You still go to the bank? Are you 70?
Credit Union.
